This series of commercials gave me goosebumps. Going back to the humble roots of players when it was just love for the game, and no guarantees of making a life out of it.

Yeah, but eventually short guys get an open rim and dunk it, and yet that "dunk" was a layup, face it, Nash is a 3pt specialist and 3pt specialists can't dunk

+Carlos Colon A little late on this but... Ray Allen, Steph Curry, JJ Reddick, Steve Nash and Kyle Korver can all dunk. Just doesn't happen often in game because they are behind the 3 point line predominately.

I remember Steve Nash at 3 on 3 Hoop-It-Up in Winnipeg when I was ohh, 16-17 years old. Everyone was yelling "Dunk it! Dunk it, Steve!" He told us he couldn't dunk and didn't attempt. This is pretty close though I'd say.

All these NBA guys can dunk. Maybe a few can't, but Nash can dunk. He can't palm the ball and he can't jump very high so he needs a clear lane and to be running slow enough to keep control of the ball, something you don't get in the NBA. John Paxson from the Bulls was 6"1'. He never once dunked in the NBA, but I saw him dunk in warm ups about 20 times.

@Veneratio10 he has a back problem called spondylolisthesis, which is why you see him sitting on the floor instead of the bench to stretch out his back, also obviously you wouldn't dunk unless you can successfully do it everytime, based on his vert in his youth on this video, i doubt he ever dunked in a game. That being say, steve's underhand layup is just as pretty as any dunk IMO

While there are better ways to use it, if someone really loved Steve Nash there are still better ways to use it. I think he should have went to Steve right before Game 6 of the WCF against the Lakers and told him what Ron Artest would do at the end of the game.
