依稀记得小时候,第一次吃到Nasi Briyani 是在友族马来同胞的婚宴上。宴会是在马路上摆宴的,是把屋前的马路给封了。有得吃,吃完了又可以打包,还有赠送来宾精美的小礼盒,礼盒里装着的大多是熟鸡蛋。
30几年前味蕾的第一次邂逅,埋下伏笔,今天和大家分享这个古早味!

【Chicken Biryani】
I vaguely remember that the very first time I ate Nasi Briyani was at the wedding banquet of my fellow Malay compatriots, that time I was a child about less than 10 year old. The banquet was set up on the road where was in front of the house, the particular road was blocked for the wedding. There is tons of local cuisine to eat, and you can pack it after eating. There is also a small gift box for guests. Most of the gift boxes are boiled eggs inside.
The first taste was more than 30 years ago, today I will share with you this recipe with you!

1) 印度香米 Basmathi Rice - 3杯 |3 cups
2) 酥油 Ghee - 1汤匙 |1 tbsp
3) 食油 Oil - 1/4杯 |1/4 cup
4) 洋葱 Onion - 50克 |50g
5) 青辣椒 Green Chili - 3条 |3 pcs
6) 番茄 Tomato - 3粒 |3 pcs
7) 月桂叶 Bay Leaf - 3片 |3 pcs
8) 肉桂 Cinnamon - 1支 |1 pc
9) 八角 Star Anise - 1粒 |1pc
10) 丁香 Clove - 3粒 |3 pcs
11) 绿豆蔻 Cardamom - 3粒 |3pcs
12) 姜蓉 Ginger paste - 25克 |25g
13) 蒜蓉 Garlic paste - 25克 |25g
14) 黄姜粉 Turmeric Powder - 1茶匙 |1 tsp
15) Briyani Powder - 1汤匙 |1 tbsp
16) 香菜叶 Cilantro leaf - 1扎 |1 bunch
17) 鸡精粉 Chicken stock - 2茶匙 |2 tsp
18) 盐 Salt - 1茶匙 |1 tsp
19) 柠檬汁 Lemon Juice - 1汤匙 |1 tbsp
20) 葡萄干 Raisin - 30克 |30g
21) 清水 Water - 4杯 |4 cups
