For all she accomplished, she did not get a lot of tributes and Lifetime Achievement Awards at award shows like Aretha, Patti, Gladys, Diana, and Chaka have gotten. To my knowledge she has only gotten one and that was at The Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards in 1999. She deserves so much more. She is truly an underappreciated legend.

Sharon Toombs that album garnered 7 Grammys. The top 3 which she won. She was the first African American to win best new artist in 1975. She also broke Aretha’s streak that same year . A total of 3 in the 70’s alone. 21 Grammy nominations and 9 total won.

She is such a great talent! She is always doing her dad Nat King Cole very proud! For he was such a world class performer, and instilled those great values of performance in her! This was an awesome video Natalie Cole keep on being beautiful and singing your voice off!

I remember being so excited back in 96 when I saw that she was going to be on the show because she had been doing jazz and standards for so long so I knew when she was going to be on Sinbad's Old School jam she was gonna do her stuff and she did not disappoint. I appreciate all the jazz stuff she does and why she felt the need to honor her father but nothing like some good old soulful Natalie! I wish she would have had time to include Inseparable though.

She shouldn't try to hit notes you know she can't do so well because it doesn't come across sounding so great or even good for that matter...I like her old time songs for the emotional side and music behind and even her limited vocal style but she needs to stop exaggerating her voice in front of an audience as she does and walk off as if you ain't embarrassed at all..I KNOW I WOULD'VE BEEN IF I WERE HER...she's just not the best vocalist around and she should be mindful of that always...
