Natalie Merchant will never know the great amount of people asking me to broadcast this tune @ my radio shows in Perú!!! Although now....she knows it!

My wife sponsored the senior class at her high school in 1994 and this song was the theme. When we were making the video that would be played on a large screen at the prom, I probably heard this song 50 times during the process, and it is so good that I never got tired of it. Love it to this day. So great that Natalie is still knocking it out of the park. A true legend.

I bought In My Tribe in 1987 & 36 years later, Natalie's voice is as strong & beautiful as it was then. And her playfulness is - oh my God, I'm still in love. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

That same year I saw Driving and Crying a to the old Roxy Theatre. Those were indeed the days. Man, that town has sunk into a funk from which it will never recover. At least we have the memories, right?

Love her with all my heart. She's so sweet and such a real person. I met her back in the 10,000 Maniacs days when she did her In My Tribe album. Her voice sounds the same today as it did then. Just amazing talent!!!!

@@evermoreart You are right Victoria. This does make me unhappy. I prefer to remember NM at the height of her talent, creativity and beauty. She is squandering that legacy. Compare concert footage from the 90's.

I don’t see any kindness in this comment. Do you really expect her to be frozen in time from the ‘90s? Time moves on and people move on with it.
