HEY GUYS! I found the podcast through Nate, and full disclosure, I used to skip the episodes when he was gone. After getting to know the whole crew, I’ve now gone back and listened to the ones I skipped. Not that I look forward to Nate being gone, but I do love the different feel when “Dad” is away. All that to say, Nate, you have nothing to worry about the weeks you are gone; Dusty, Aaron, and Butt-munch do an excellent job! -- Grant Harrison

39:19 when Nate is pumping Brian up and then says “you’re weak but that doesn’t mean you’re not manly” had me in tears. But real talk, Brian you’re as much a man as anyone. Being a man isn’t about fixing stuff. Being strong doesn’t just mean physically strong. Y’all are awesome men of God and that’s what matters. Blessings to you all.

It’s interesting to see how so many fans think their favorite celebrities change. I have a theory that it’s actually the fans who change. I’ll use a comic for example. Comic starts out - Fan finds new comic - fan loves new comic - comic’s audience grows - fan excited for comic’s success - comic gets bigger opportunity - comic gets busy - fan claims comic is Hollywood - fan leaves negative comments about comic. I am so happy for all of the BAND’s success. How awesome to do something you love and it changes your life?! Wouldn’t we want that for anyone?

Brian is leaving out a key part that we use to do. If the last two standing were on the same side, they would be put on opposite sides until one wins. The point of separating wasn't to have teams, it was to have targets to throw at. There were no team captains. You'd stand in line and count 1, 2, 1, 2 and then go to opposite sides. It's a crazy game when you break it down that the most fun part about it is you get to throw a ball as hard as you can at someone with zero consequences.

I’d love it if the BAND boys would weigh in on my theory. I’ve always connected people who have very early childhood memories to those that remember their dreams more vividly. I have memories from before 18 months, my father from 14-16 months, and we have VERY vivid and complicated dreams that we can remember upon waking. Nate, I second your gut feeling that you’ll know where and when based on God’s leading. It’s difficult to put into words, but you just know. You also learn that when you try to force something, it’s a sign that you shouldn’t be doing it, as it never turns out the way you want. However, the opposite seems true with God, where even something that seems like it’s going to take you nowhere, turns into some of the most beautiful times in your life. Those experiences, in turn, make you trust Him more. Good talk today guys! ♥️

I had a dream that I was waiting with a group of my band friends at UGA. To pass the time, I thought it would be fun to sing its 5 o’clock somewhere. When we got to the “what would jimmy Buffett do” part everyone fell silent. They didn’t know the rest of the song and no matter how hard I tried, they couldn’t sing it. I was frustrated with them and I woke up mad. I checked my phone and my dad messaged me, saying that jimmy Buffett had passed away. I told this story to the other trumpet players before a football game. They said I was a prophet and passed around a collection hat. I made $60. Don’t tell the tax man. Love the show big fan of all your comedy got to see Nate and Aaron in Green Bay and hope to see you the next time you’re in Wisconsin. Dreams are a big deal to me because I’ve had maybe a dozen basically Deja vu moments in my life where I’ll be like I experienced this before and it was a dream I had in the past and I look at that as Gods confirmation that my life is going to according to His plan. Thanks for being funny and entertaining and reminding of me of just hanging with my friends.

One of the common full house myths is that it was filmed in the painted ladies. The painted ladies served as a backdrop of the shows credits. If you google the full house house, you will find an exact address that’s about 1 mile from the painted ladies.

Dusty, summers are best in Michigan, not too hot and not too humid.

When I was kid playing dodgeball, we’d play like Brian did. When one side emptied the other side would split and half would run to the empty side until there was one player left.

The full house, house is not one of the painted ladies. It is a few blocks away from the park.

How is Nate considered the “dad” of the podcast when Brain Batman is always the one prepping the content and roping everybody back in when they get too far off topic?

I remember playing dodgeball that way once. They would split up the kids evenly into two teams and go at it. When there was one left on the opposite side team we would stop and they would redistribute the kids and we would continue doing that until it was a one on one championship round.

Worcester is pronounced wooster or if you're from there woostah. Most of the letters are optional in Massachusetts town names

Hello folks and Hey Bear! I’ve been listening since day one and love you guys! Nate, you are being way too hard on yourself with your body! I think you look great and radiant, but that’s just my observation. Side note: my last name is Canadian…wonder if you guys can pronounce it 🤓)

I’ve had a few lucid dreams. I was in school, stressing out and looking for a class and looked down and saw my wedding ring. I immediately knew I was dreaming so I jumped in a school bus and crashed it on purpose! 😂

Even though I’m very close in age to Aaron, I was born in October of 91 and graduated a year before him in ‘09, I feel like him and I are a generation apart. Rather often a topic will come up, a show or movie will be reference, and Aaron will be clueless because of his age…. But it will be something I know of well. In the cartoons episode I discovered him and I did not watch the same shows at all. In this episode he had no idea what a car phone was. Aaron is right in the middle of the millennial generation but his childhood experiences seem like that of an early Gen Z kid.

Saw Dusty in Milwaukee in February. Seeing Nate in Chicago June 30th.. wondering if Brian or Aaron are opening that night? Hoping it’s Brian because then I can see Aaron in Lake Forest in July. Then I can have my BAND pin!!
