Mercy! This is the first time I'VE heard the National Anthem played on a carillon as well! Dang, carillons are so heavy, thus hard to get into churches and campuses.

Very nice! Plus, for the courtesy of you and others who view this, the words of our national anthem were penned by Francis Scott Key in the aftermath of the Brittish attack on Fort McHenry during the war of 1812 upon seeing the American Flag still waving over the fort and below are Mr. Key's words if you want to read them while listening or sing along as you stand with your hand over your heart. O say, can you see? By the dawn's early light, what so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming, whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight, o'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming. And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. O say, does that Star-Spangled Banner yet wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and I see where you're coming from, but I do this not because I have to, but because I enjoy doing it and it is simply my way of reaching out to others in the KZitem community and showing that I care for them and love them.
