Learn about the NEA’s American Rescue Plan funding, ask questions, and connect with your federal agency's dance team! This online conversation is open to all regardless of membership status in Dance/USA & IABD. These funds are intended to help support jobs in the arts sector, keep the doors open to arts organizations nationwide, and assist the field in its response to and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Cost share/matching funds are not required. This opportunity is open to local arts agencies and nonprofit arts and culture organizations regardless of whether they have received past NEA funding, significantly expanding access to federal funds for the arts and culture sector. The Arts Endowment is actively seeking first-time applicants and this workshop will provide content for first-timers as well as previous NEA applicants.
Before applying for federal funding, organizations need to obtain a DUNS number and register with SAM.gov and grants.gov. Registration on SAM.gov and grants.gov can take several weeks, so you should begin the process as soon as possible. The Arts Endowment has put together some instructions and links to help you with this process. Visit www.arts.gov/g... for guidance.
