My mother, brother and sister are buried here together, such a peaceful and beautiful place. The lookout is awesome. RIP and Aloha fam.🌴🌅🙏

Page 586 Pyle, Ernie (Ernest Taylor) (1900-1945), American jour- nalist, b. near Dana, Ind. He travelled widely, describing, in columns for the Scripps-Howard chain and many other newspapers, the reactions of the man-in-the-street. He gained his greatest reputation reporting incidents of the London blitz and Pacific combat areas during World War II. He was killed near Okinawa, on Ie Island, of the Ryukyu group. His works include Here Is Your War and Brave Men. buried in the National Cemetery of the Pacific, Hawaii H 67
