Nice work! This will help inspire my efforts, as I've recently recieved a high spirits Condor Bass Em! Love the sound and ease of playing.

Thanks, so much! I hope you enjoy the Condor, as much as I do. It has a beautiful tone, and It's really hard to lay it down!

Very nice. I had a Condor in E but like a dummy I sold it to pay for a larger bass flute. I'm happy with the new one but I've always regretted selling that E because it had such a nice sound. I want to replace it with another one. What wood is yours made from?

Thanks I appreciate it! Like you, I love the tone of the E, and I play it much more than my bass D. The wood is Spanish cedar, which has a nice honey color to it.

@@flutetastic-NC Mine was also Spanish cedar. I just ordered a new one, but this time I decided to go with 432Hz in aromatic cedar. How did you get that warbling effect with the note dropping at 0:52 and 1:11?

@@runsfrombear I have a high C in 432Hz, in walnut. I don't have a preference, either way, for 432 or 440. It just so happened to be on sale at the time! I achieved the warbling effect by fluttering the note, in this case the B note. I started the flutter with the open hole (B note) and, slowly moved the fluttering finger over the hole. This bends the B note down to A. It's a different kind of flutter, and one I discovered by accident, one day while just playing around. It's those little "accidents" that makes everyone's playing unique!

@@flutetastic-NC I've never tried a 432 flute before so I thought I'd get one and see what all the fuss is about. I can hear the difference in the demo videos but it's probably something that can't be appreciated until you try it. We'll see how it goes. I was having a hard time picturing how you did that flutter, but I think I've got it now. Seems it's easier to do with some fingers than others. But I'll keep working on it.

@@runsfrombear Yeah, the pitch bending effect requires a little more dexterity. I find it easier to do with the index or middle fingers of the right hand, on the lower notes.

I just bought a flute in the same key I had a fantastic night with Tom Ruprecht and his wife 0:32 Kathy and my friend Maureen
