Isatis Tinctoria, popularly called glasto or pastel, is a biennial dyeing plant that fell into disuse in Spain because its cultivation was not very reproductive due to the expenses it caused and the operations involved in preparing the leaves for application to the dye. . In 1999 Marie Noëlle Vacher showed me in the town of Triste (Huesca) the cultivation and use of this plant.
