hi i have hooded eyes (i'm 20 i was born with them they are my favorite i love them) and just wanted to say you are my favorite artist on youtube you do such beautiful, soft makeup that actually enhances hooded eyes - not hiding them, and i love it you are the best : ) i live the struggle of always doing way too much eye makeup and always am looking for a more natural look - you really understand and are the best to post this vid! i think the only natural eye look for hooded eyes i have seen on youtube that is actually pretty?? lol.

Great video and very helpful! But along with *very* hooded eyes and oily lids, I'm at the stage of having somewhat "crinkly" skin too and it seems like powder shadows, even mattes, accentuate it. I'm thinking that cream shadows might be better but I'm having trouble finding matte cream shadows that are also cruelty-free and, ideally, vegan. Any tips for cream shadow application as well as recommendations would be so appreciated!

Thanks for this video! Jane Iredale has some really terrific products, too. Hard to beat Charlotte Tilbury and Hourglass. I like some Cover FX, too. General stuff like soaps, cleansers, lotions I generally prefer Pacifica. In fact they had some pretty good makeup, too. Love their Ocean somethingorother lipsticks. SO glad to have you back on YT. I've save some of your hooded eyes tutorials for quite a long time, especially one about using color on hooded eyes where you used a purple in place of inner corner highlight. PS. I have that little extra fold in the inner corner of my right eye that you have on your left eye. 😎✌️🦋

Loved this Sanni never thought about that tip re plucking under brows, I have a lot of space between lid and brow and that will help if only they grew more. Teenager in the 70s eyebrows plucked to death! Also blotting and then applying lip pencil 😀😘😘

Love this look and I love your hair!! You already use some Charlotte Tilbury, she has an eyelash curler! I'm so happy you've gone CF so I know I can depend on your recommendations. Thank you so much for your awesome tutorials! You are very appreciated! I have a question regarding eyebrows, I think I've been doing it wrong this whole time as I use the same color throughout the entire brow. How much lighter should the start of the brow be? I currently use Maybelline total temptation and Revlon brow fantasy both in blonde. I am int in switching to brow powder, for a more natural softer look, what drug store product would You recommend? Thanks again missmai! :)

What brush do you like for your crease transition color? I can’t find the right brush that works well for that part of the eye - it’s frustrating because it takes way too long because I don’t have a brush soft or precise enough and it always seems to go below (on the corner) where it should and it makes my eyes look more hooded. Thanks!
