The Putorana Plateau is a mysterious volcanic plateau located in the boundless expanses of Siberia, far beyond the Arctic Circle, east of the mouth of the Yenisei. Even today, when there is aviation, this land in its taiga wilderness still keeps many secrets and mysteries.
In April, frost and blizzards still reign over the Putorana plateau. The waterfalls froze for a while, capturing in their appearance the unique beauty and power of the water element. In May, the polar day begins. Thousands of reindeer herds begin their long and deadly journey through the snowy expanses of the plateau. They spent the winter in the Evenki taiga, where there was plenty of food, and now they are going north to the Taimyr tundra. Life is gradually returning to the Putorana Plateau. On the rocky shelves of the canyons, the most amazing animals of this land, the bighorn sheep, bask in the sun. With the onset of evening twilight, the ringing silence of the surrounding world is broken by the trill of a stone capercaillie. In June, the time of rains comes on the Putorana plateau. The snow remaining in the mountains begins to melt actively. The plateau temporarily turns into a country of large rivers and waterfalls. In this wonderful world, everything is subject to the unwritten laws of nature.
