Thanks for making this video. Really helped me in my decision to purchasing this product. I have already purchased the NGen Elite gen and three pods, 12, 100 watt panels, and the windmill they sell. The elite can take 300 watts of solar per pod and have bigger batteries. I plan on getting 2 more pods and I have the transfer switch that I'll be connecting to a few circuits in the house and go full time off grid. Will see how well it holds up running the kitchen and maybe the living room. In Arizona we have a ton of sun all day so am thinking it's going to work rather well. I previously had a 7.2 kw grid tied system with a battery backup and two 600 watt wind turbines though that system was in Virginia. So I understand this will be a great off grid system for a cabin someday. Thanks again for taking the time to make this vid. Helps us all DIY people keep moving forward! JD

I haven’t talked to anyone who has the Elite version with the 3600w inverter. How does it perform? I feel like I’m going to be disappointed when I finally get mine in 2 weeks. I would like to cut my electric bill in half and run at least the lighter used circuits off the transfer switch. Currently, my electric bill is $300 per month. We are on electric baseboard heat so it’s pretty high in the winter. I plan to add two more 100w solar panels to the 4 that came with it the kit to max out the 300w allowed on each controller.

There are good and bad things about acid and lithium power banks.... So l bought both.... Nature's Generator's Elites. And various Eco Flows....

Can you connect extra panels in parallel? I understand it only has two inputs but if you have connectors to run the panels in parallel what is the max input for the system?

the generator itself has 2 connections. one is for wind turbines and the other solar panels. you can get a splitter that will allow 2 solar panels and 2 wind turbines into those specific connections . as far as what i was told thats the max recommended inputs foe the generator. now each pod you add to the system has 1 solar connection that you can use the splitter to jump 2 solar panels to and thats the max recommended for each pod . if you want more power you must add more pods to link in with the generator . not sure what your expectations are for power from these systems or equivalent products , they are only capable of handling minimal power and it would take a very large fixed system to handle everyday luxuries . its not the product , thats just the science of where technology is today. once again keep in mind i dont represent natures generator nor am i educated or well knowledge in solar/wind turbines. i just know enough to have a general idea and wanted to share information in a way that everyday people can understand.

@@johnaquad most systems say they can store x Amp hrs and can accept x watt input. I can research it. I was just being lazy thinking you might know.

if you have a 5000 btu ac let’s say starting watts are 800 watts running watts are 450 watts you can run your ac on a 1200 watt unit

Do you still use them and do they hold up

it is still set up and operating as it should . i only actually use it every couple months to make sure its operational as it us set up as a back up generator for house . once in a blue moon ile use it for dry camping on my truck camper . solar panels have went through some hard core weather conditions and still work great . now the wind turbine on the other hand is showing signs of wear , mostly blades have chips from tree branches and hail and material is degrading but gotta give it kidos for lasting this long . i did purchase blade replacements from natures generator just havnt installed,

@johnaquad awesome because I'm ordering one but I seen people complaining about the plug ports so I was thinking if I made a good choice

@@evananthonybaez theres plenty of peoples in this world that will complain about something. just like alot of people argue lithium batteries are way better then the acid cell used in these and you know what ? they are right and they should buy a system with lithium instead of arguing with me on whats better. yes there are better systems out their but the natures generator has been working just fine for me and my needs and i paid less then a similar system of other brands . you will be just fine

Greets. Ok first your solar panels are partial shadowed by the weed that reduces the output a lot. Wind never tested. But what i can say from the technical specs of this nature gen its pretty limited. The best 2 powerstation brands are Ecoflow and Bluetti. My opinon, for the money you spend you could have bought an ep500 for example, then you would have fun to build up a solar system cause its also just plugn play and pretty easy to handle
