I live in Japan, and I can confirm that those Hibi incense matches are definitely popular here recently. I really like them too😍

If you like the look of fornasetti candles, Chase and Wonder candles have a similar aesthetic. My favourite way to fragrance our home is with scented candles, electric diffuser (I love the muji one) and candle burner which I use for aromatherapy oils and wax melts. My favourite candles used to be the Space NK ones when they used to sell candles other than the Christmas editions (I’ve still got one I’m saving from years ago). My other favourite is The White Company candles and burner oils. Pomegranate is a definite favourite, but I’m about to crack open their new candle called Oakmoss. Any edt or edp that is not longlasting enough to wear on skin I tend to use as a pillow spray. Body spray I’m not too keen on gets used as spray for trainers in between washes (the amount of alcohol is good for killing germs too).

I've always wanted those Fornasetti candles...I love the way they look. I'm addicted to candles like I am perfume. I love DW Home Candles too especially the Wild Honey one. I love the LES and Cameo candles from Boy Smells (they have a lot of good ones though). I also really like Roen Candles. The 29 Palms and Botanica scents are my favorites. I use a lot of reed diffusers too...love Black Orchid by Aquiesse and Coco Coco by Coqui Coqui. I use a ton of incense and palo santo. I need that burner. For travel, I like burning papers...Papier d'Armenie. Well anyways, thanks buddy!!

I’m burning DW Home Woodsmoke Bourbon as I watch. Can’t beat the value and they have great scent throw. I purchase at TJMaxx, so the inventory is never the same. Not always having the same scents available forces you to try something new, and I like that!

Thanks for the recommendations!I love scented candles but they make me cough. Now I usually do diffusers. Besides, nothing beats real flowers in my opinion and they are quiet overlooked. When my jasmine and gardenia bloom my home smells like heaven if I do say so myself😌.

Oh yes, a home fragrance video! Thank you for all these beautiful ideas! This has been on my mind, as perfumes have increasingly become my home scents, instead of nothing. Sensory overload is me, big time, so sometimes a fragrance emanating from my arm or legs is too intense, or it doesn't fit the mood 100% - it diffusing itself from 3m away throughout a room is just right. Or just passing through a happy Anna Sui hallway now and then. The straight up & less than elegant way of choice has been spraying on labelled napkin strips, placed on heaters if on. ^^ I do have an essential oil diffuser (but, hi allergies, EOs can be so risky..), _if_ I'm ok with the intensitiy I add perfume to the water, instead of oils.

For cire Trudon a tip I've used is I use the wax cameos to trial the scents as they're a lot cheaper x

Have you considered subitism incense burners? They're primarily for burning expensive incense and oud chips. I got one to learn how oud chips smells differently from oils. I also use the cheap stuff, holiday nighlight oil diffusers from Bath and Bodyworks - it's almost Pumpkin Spice season 😊

If you love fireplace scents I highly recommend WoodWicks Fireside in the ellipse form with the very wide wick. It crackles like a fireplace in your home and really looks lovely on the coffee table with the wide flame. Also fills a whole room very quickly with a beautiful fireside scent x

Just watching the video put me in a nice calming space after a long stressful week, thank you! I haven’t gotten into high end candles as I spend too much on perfume BUT my goal is to get some Trvdon after finally smelling them in a store this summer. OMG. I have to say the Trvdon perfumes are not as good as the candles. I like a good burning incense stick, cone, or palo santo. Lately burning these Paine’s Balsam Fir sticks that I think are just piney wood chips.

Insightful video as always! I purchased La Promeneuse bc of my love for Trvdon Candles. My favorite candle is Ottoman and my favorite wax cameo is Atria, which I believe you can purchase as a candle too. I am going to look into some of the others that you mentioned. Thanks again!! Btw...I had no idea you were a mom too ❤️

Thanks for the Recommendations, Great new options for me to explore! I'm not super experienced with home scents I use an Electric oil Diffuser my favorite oil is Casmir by AromaTech it has a stronger perfumy type scent which i like and seems to fill the room more than some other scents I've tried.

Hi Sam, Jujubae are Da Zao - Chinese dates - and the reason I know is that in Meileaf (Camden) you can buy white tea blend with them called Sweet Cheeks and it is really lovely. I am pretty much a tea purist (not counting herbal tisane mixes) but this one I really enjoyed.

and of course I had to go and put a candle on. I have only one now (I tent to buy them in winter and not so much over summer, so just one left) and it is Andy Tauer's Rose one. I am peeved he does not do the L´air du désert marocain any more. Andy! If you reading this: I am peeved! 🤣

No candels. Spreading allergic substances + carbon = a direct mean to get into auto-immunity with a sick lung. My way: Open the windows getting great air from all the gardens around with trees and listening to the singing of birds. No need of carbon & allergenics.
