Welcome aboard this week's episode on the Navigator of the Seas! In last week's video, we drove the 8 hour journey from Tucson, AZ to Buena Park, CA to stay the night at the Knott's Berry Farm Hotel and a quick trip to Downtown Disney for dinner at the Grand Californian Hotel's Craftsman Bar. And of course, some shopping at World of Disney.
Early the next morning, we made our way to the port of Long Beach to embark on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas! Built in 2002, this Voyager Class cruise ship has a gross tonnage of 139,999 and holds 3,500+ passengers. While it felt busy at times, the ship has a plethora of activities to help keep the masses spread out.
In today's video, we start off with a quick and easy muster drill before making our way up to the Windjammer for a lunchtime buffet meal. Following that, we explored the ship a bit, including the pool deck featuring the Lime & Coconut 3 story bar. Then made our way to the Royal Promenade to explore some more before heading to our room.
To our knowledge, there is no bigger balcony on the Navigator of the Seas. Our balcony was massive! Room 7688 lists a 50 sqft balcony but it's certainly much larger. The room itself is a standard balcony room but the balcony was more than worth booking this room early!
After settling in, we made our way topside again for the sail away party out of Long Beach; bound for Ensenada, Mexico. We then made our way down to the main dining room for a 3 course dinner featuring polenta with goat cheese, and an excellent Caribbean jerk pork chop. Following dinner, we explored a bit more and took the rest of the night easy; it was a long day!
Stay tuned for next week's very fun afternoon in Ensenada where we tried the original margaritas, ate ceviche at La Guerrerense, & explored the local fish markets & more!
Thanks for watching, be sure to like, comment & subscribe! We'll see you in the next one!
