The Nazis understood that man needs more than individualism. The greatest pleasure is knowing that even if you work your ass off, you are somehow participating in a great civilisation and common project. Neither the American Anglo Capitalist nor the USSR communists really got this point. In Capitalism there is extreme individualism. People make money but are apathetic. In Communism there is collectivism, but since the ideology is toxic (class warfare, etc) people just aren't motivated and it feels like forced collectivism. In Germany you knew you were part of a single people/race, working under one leader, for the prosperity of a single Empire. It goes back to Ancient Roman ideals about the Imperium they were building too, and why Roman governors and officials were so proud of what they did.

You need to specify "racist" because usually it's a skin colour thing as apposed to an ethnicity thing, there wasn't a lot of stereotypical minority groups in germany other than gay's and a handful of blacks, so most of the "racism" was directed at fairly close ethnic groups like Jews and Slavs and roma.

Most of Europe was behind Hitler except the British… they did not want a rival to grow along side it’s empire, so America supported Churchill to go to war because it wanted to break up the British empire for free trade. Hitler wanted to make peace with England because of the historical links of the royals.. the British Monarchy was German after all.. that’s why the House of Battenberg changed its name to House of Windsor.. to be more British.. Hitler thought that Russia was the natural heritage of the Europeans.. hence the flight of Rudolf Hess… who believed that “We will guarantee England her empire; in return she will give us a free hand in Europe…Hitler had great respect for the English people ...”…Hess spoke to Lord Hamilton at length after his flight to Scotland, about Hitler's expansionary plans and the need for Britain to let the Nazis have free rein in Europe, in exchange for Britain being allowed to keep its overseas possessions… Hitler wanted to recreate the Holy Roman Empire and reclaimed its historical lands in the east, but Churchill fell for the American duplicity.. Hitler planned to conquer JUST Eastern Europe (Poland, checkoslav, Baltic states, Ukraine, and the caucuses) not all of Europe. Maybe in an economic sense but not take all of Europe under military occupation. Secondly, Nazi Germany's economy didn't start failing at the beginning. It was only later, in 1937, when Hitler had to prepare to unite Austria into the Reich. The economy became dependent on manufacturing for war when Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia, even more so when he invaded Poland. Also, Hitler didn't invade the USSR to fight the USSR. He invaded yes, to get their resources and living space, but he expected the soviets to collapse due to many different factors. The main factor being an economic collapse of the USSR and civilian uprisings against Stalin.

In fact, Hitler was trying to recreate the Holy Roman Empire abolished by Napoleon and reclaim the historical German lands in the east. Britain, being a Protestant country with a global empire did not want a rival. Hitler wanted peace with England because the British Monarchy was German after all.. that’s why the German army did not wipe out the British Expeditionary Force in Dunkirk because Hitler wanted to show Britain that England was not its enemy.

@tillavanrooyen4182
Жыл бұрын
@jamesatlas5204, it was short-lived because it was indeed from another galaxy, NGC224, and appeared on this planet for only 12 years for what was in essence a wedding. A wedding which was actually predicted about 1900 years earlier. Even the war was part of the wedding. It was predicted as the treading of the wine press. If there ever was a wedding party that brought the house down, then this was it. The bride and groom left for the grooms place and with them went as many of the quests as wanted to go (Everybody was invited). Unfortunately those that chose to stay behind, are not looked upon kindly by the rest of the villagers which suffered in degrees of severity from the whole affair. In the rest of the universe they look differently upon things than we do here. Many on this planet hope they don't have to live through such a party again, but in reality they're not that bad. I personally think the locals themselves were responsible for the debacle because they either perceived the party as dangerous aliens, or they were angry because they weren't invited.
