President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Yakubu Maikyau has also reacted to the controversy surrounding the Samoa Agreement signed by the federal government.
In a statement released earlier today, the President of the NBA explained that the agreement does not in any way, mandate Nigeria to endorse or accept LGBTQ rights, as a pre-condition to access an alleged $150 billion loan.
He mentioned that the agreement was made subject to the local laws and the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
