The 94 All Star game Zeke got Magic on the team. He had to do his research on Hiv the causes it's effects etc. To allay the fears people had to play w Magic. He had to do his research to be ready for David Stern that's where the questioning of MJs homosexuality questions arose. He had to know any information good or bad to prepare him for David Sterns interview to let Magic play. Once Magic played he wanted to return to the NBA but Isiah retired as union player president. Magic got upset because without Zeke hammering the players down then it would be difficult. Zeke didn't want to hurt his friends feelings because nobody wanted to play w Magic. They average like 110-120 a game early on in Zeke's career to around 102-105 points. At any given time of the game Pistons were down or not in the flow it was nothing for Zeke to take control of a half, a quarter or an whole game. The GOAT

I wouldn't go as far to say Thomas is the greatest but I can't argue with the points you made., you're right about just about everything. I watched the Pivot interview and I watched all those games during the 80's, I've studied basketball, I'd like to say I'm somewhat of a historian. Jordan, he isn't overrated as a player but it's the media who has inflated his status as this Godlyke basketball player. The truth is, he couldn't beat any of the dynasty teams in the 80's until the NBA changed the rules for him to drive to the basket, get dunks, and get fouls. The Lakers, 76ers, Pistons and Celtics were winning championships without rules being implicated to enhance their best player. The NBA didn't move up the 3 point line so Bird's shooting percentage would go to the roof, they didn't make balls with a grip system that could enhance Magic passing the ball.. The league didn't seem to mind when Bird, Dr J, Thomas, Magic, McHale, Wilt, Russel, Kareem got knocked to the floor. But they sure stepped in and made it clear you couldn't touch Michael Jordan. He was playing with house money every single night and once he developed a jumper the game was his to own. Taking nothing away from his work ethic, his gifts, it's just Jordan was probably the first player that came along where it really obviously seemed like games were scripted for him to win. So it's hard to say if he was really the greatest or not because no one was saying he was in 1988, it was Wilt all day. No one was even saying Kareem was, or Magic or Bird..It was Wilt and Russell. Now Wilt can't even make a damn list

These imho are the greatest NBA players of all time. 5. Oscar Robertson He invented the triple double. 4. Labron James. The opitimie of a prodigy NBA player and golden child. 3. Micheal Jordan. Though there are players that came after him that were athletic as him, he as you eluded was the " Messiah" the league was looking for. Add note: no one seen the shit he did in the air before to that magnitude. ( See Julius Erving) 2. Wilton Norman Chamberlin. To this day His scoring, and rebounding, FG pct, accomplishments are still littered over the landscape of NBA statistics literally!!!! Remember before Wes Unseld he was the first ROY and league MVP. Also I do believe he was the first center to league the league in total assist, Finally he was part of two franchise records, the 66-67 76'ers won a then 68 games on way to a championship. Then with the Lakers they won a record 69 games on way to a championship. (Also that 71- 72 Laker team won 33 games straight. In today's NBA that will never be broken.) Both records broken by the 96 Bulls and the 2016 Warriors. 1. Kareem Abdul Jabber. When we talk about accomplishment let's start in HS shall we he won 3 straight state championships for now defunct Power Memorial, as a collegiate player he won three straight NCAA Championships ( it would of been four but he couldn't play as a freshman). They banned the dunk in college because of him from 1967 to 1976. ( where dey do dat at lol) thus he " invented" the sky hook. Finally as an NBA players he has a plethora of accomplishments that are staggering I'll stick to the ones most are familiar with... 10 NBA championship appearances, 6 NBA championships, 6 MVP regular seasn awards, 2 Finals MVP awards, he is STILL the all time leading scorer in NBA history. ( that's about to change) Don't forget what he did in the Rucker league also. Too bad I can't include Dr J in this because he was Mike before Mike. And Magic deserves some love too. The league was always a physical league but the Pistons started taking it overboard. They played dirty and that's not basketball. They're one of the main reasons why the league is so soft today. They took it too far and players were getting hurt. And no Bill Laimbeer didn't inspire anyone to shoot three's. Who'd he inspire? He didn't shoot that many anyway. You think these players today were inspired by Bill Laimbeer??? Really?? Half of them don't even know who he is. No this is Steph's generation. How is trying to end your opponents career good for the game of the Basketball, Isaiah Thomas should be trying to get the next NBA Franchise, instead of harping on not making the Dream Team and MJ

I need to see some receipts on some things Isiah said. When some people talk, they can easily get full of themselves. Remember, despite being a defector, he's still a Chicagoan and Chicagoans are known to embellish on some whoppers they ate.

Ceno jus has a Chicago bias..It took Isiah Thomas 8 years to win his 1st of 2 championships, and most defensive highlights of his team involved eye gouging, tackling, nut punching, elbowing, and damn near brass knuckles lol.. hell outta here

Michael Jordan hated the Pistons, because they wasn't scared of them. The bulls couldn't bully them, and they didn't kiss his my ass. Plus they had just as much or more Talent ! But you know you can't say anything bad or negative about Michael Jordan and the Bulls even if it is the truth..

So I guess you know more than Mark Aguirre? A former #1 pick and Isaiah Thomas teammate on the Pistons, whom I had dinner with in Vegas after team USA vs Argentina. I argued with this man all dinner about who is the GOAT and guess who he said was?… THE BLACK CAT. Man stop the Cap Ceno!!

I think Zeke is the only players former players would run through a brick wall for. He's their idol. He even brings some of them to tears. Zeke is a national treasure and went through a lot. Look, if you know Basketball, you know just how GREAT Isiah Thomas is. He doesn't need the credit but he most defintiely has every right to tell his story. Good for him.

At the END of the day, JORDAN IS STILL THE GREATEST, HE IS THE MOST FEARED, NOBODY scared of Isaiah. JORDAN IS THE GUY THAT BROUGHT THE TEAM BACK. We get U still upset from 40 years ago The BULLS stole y'all from 3 peating and end up 3 peating not only that they SWEPT the 2x NBA Champions and Detroit was Never heard from again until like 2004. When U look at the intro of The FINALS they show Bill Russell, Wilt, then Dr J, then Magic and Bird BUT when they show the feet of THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME Michael JORDAN, U feel like U looking at the TOP of the mountain then when it goes into the 2000s it's like U going down the mountain bcuz the GREATEST PINNACLE IN NBA HISTORY will always be JORDAN. That 6 part story U did on The BULLS didn't do nothing but STILL show how GREAT The BULLS were 😁😁😁😁. The REAL 23 like U said will ALWAYS be JORDAN ☝🏿🖐🏿🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
