Jamal Crawford was nicer than most guys that was on the starting five of the team's that he played for and as the sixth man he would cook the majority of the guys that he played with that was starting five with no problem if he wanted somebody's spot he could have took it if he was that type of person he would have been able to do that but he was a sportsman in all the greatest meaning of the word he conducted himself professionally all the time and showed what true sportsmanship was at all times and that goes without saying because he chose himself to be that six man to play his position you know he could have been a starter if he chose to I believe on any team he could have been part of the starting five he could have went to work on cats at practice and and show everyone on the team and the coach that he deserve two be in the starting five easily Jamal Crawford could have been like hey give me that starting position but being a good teammate he played his position and at the end of the day even though he was never on a championship team I guarantee you he does not have to sit around long waiting for a Hall of Fame entry because it goes without saying he's definitely going in the Hall of Fame first shot because the man was six man of the year more than one time just like Bobby Jones from the 76ers back in the days guys like that you can't deny a Hall of Fame position three times Crawford was 6th man of the year and he dropped 50 in one the last games he played at like 39 years old I luv these two guys because they show you the true meaning of bailing out every time they get on the court Jamal Crawford always give you a highlight so to me they should always put some respect on Jamal Crawford's name he that guy when he gets that ball in his hand ain't nobody standing in front of him and stopping him if he want to get the job done get to his spot and if he wanted to make you look simple stupid or dumb while doing it trust me he could I know it you know it and everyone knows it the person that's playing defense on him is hoping and praying in his mind that Jamal Crawford doesn't make him look stupid lmdao God bless J. Jamal Crawford had a beautiful behind the back handle and was very perfect with it on the break, but I do remember and Isiah Thomas had to have seen or heard about Author Swivels in Chicago. Not sure if I spelled it right. But Author would actually run a fast break bouncing the ball back and forth will running😂😂😂 That shit was so respected he would set up his offense bouncing the ball back side to side behind his back. And if a defender dare challenge he would blow by them. I don't think he went beyond highschool but he was the first and the best I ever seen doing that handle.

I'd take Manu over Jamal also,Manu gave you 100% every game,minute he was on the court. PLUS,he played very agressive man-to-man defense, Jamal didn't. Jamal took some seriously bad shots during games,especially when he was with the Clippers,those missed 3 pointers led to many fast breaks for their opponents. And he became shot-happy like Kobe,forcing some shots when he could've passed the ball.
@dh3824

Manu the better player but he's not a legit bench player. He was a starter that came in 3 mins into the game. Jamal is the prototype 6man. Microwave scorer with an borderline irrational confidence in shot taking/making. You gotta live with that because its what makes him great. He can be 0-8 then he makes the next 15 shots. Each more ridiculous than the last. Conversely, he can just keep missing and keep taking those ridiculous shots too. That's whats fun about watching him play, you hope he makes one basket and instantly catches fire. As a Clipper fan it sucks that he never truly erupted in a playoff game when he played with us.

Crawford got stuck in a transitional time where the NBA went from a defensive focus to an offensive one. @@neworleans018 I don't really like to deal in the theoretical "what ifs." I just look at what literally happened. And Manu made the All-NBA 3rd team in '08 because he was playing 30+ minutes per game and finishing every game. I mean, technically a player could never a start a game in his life and average 47 minutes per game played if they were just subbed in right after the opening tip-off. I've always wondered why it's so important to players to start when in truth, the best players are the ones who finish the games.
