Players who aren’t as physically gifted need to adapt and increase their basketball IQ. Lebron’s measure of greatness is higher than everyone else because of his physical gifts. He captured the imagination of ardent fans and casual fans. He wasn't so big that he could not be extremely nimble in the air, yet a very powerful finisher. He was graceful and beautiful in the air. He changed how players wore their uniforms, when he shaved his head, everybody shaved their heads; it became fashionable. The one thing you can say about Jordan is that he dominated the 90s in the way Russell dominated the 60s. Every other era has been more or less competitive. Who was the greatest player in the 80s? Magic? Bird? Erving? Moses Malone? Kareem? It's a debate. Who was the greatest player in the 2000s? Kobe? Duncan? Dirk? Shaq? Does LeBron dominate the 2010s the way Russell and Jordan dominated the 60s and 90s? Or are the 2010s competitive in a way the 80s and 2000s were?

Jordan would likely win in ‘94 but not in ‘95. Both Rockets teams were good but the 95 team, Olajuwon was unbeatable. I think Jordan would’ve won 7 championships, maybe one more if management didn’t break up the team.

There's an old basketball saying dating back to the times of King Solomon. "Let your game do the talking." MJs career speaks for itself, he never had to state his case or defend his title as the greatest of all time. It was bestowed upon him unofficially yet undoubtedly.

Anyone that watched MJ play knows the feeling that you got. You knew that he was going to win no matter the situation. The NBA use to make ppl feel a certain way In the 90’s. That’s not how it Is now. You can’t explain it to ppl that never watched MJ play. If they could experience It they would never say LBJ was better.

MJ, Kareem, Russell, Bird, Magic, Wilt, Olajuwon, Duncan, and Kobe all had enough maturity and confidence not to be such a me-me-me attention-deficient self-aggrandizer like Le-Trump. Out of the above, the only ones LBJ is debatably better than is Kobe, Duncan, and maybe Olajuwon (who barely had a few years with a healthy Sampson and aging Drexler). As an individual talent, LBJ compares favorably to Wilt, who didn't get the benefit of the lobbying, whining, or flopping--not to mention the league bending over backwards to "push" him.

A true GOAT would not need to chase Kyrie, Wade, Bosh, Love and Davis to join up with because he needs to play alongside every member of Team USA in order to be great. Was that Harrison Barnes Warriors team LeBron beat in the finals even the best team in Warriors history? No, they would not have beaten the KD team that swept LeBron, let's face it.

Growing up in Europe in 90s i heard all about great players that played: MJ,Charles Barkley,Scottie.,Rodman etc . I didn't watch them play because of time zone, but i still heard about them. Do all kids in world know about Lebron. You cant say you are great if people around the world don't say. Even in new Space Jam 2 they call him King James. King of what? He is good player but for him to be the GOAT he need to sweat and grind hard for years to earn that.Peace
