2 of my all-time favorite teams. We've all heard how Lebron faced tougher opposition than MJ, but in my unpopular opinion, better basketball was played in MJ's Era and early 2000s. I feel teams were more balanced and complete thus making them underrated competition. You don't necessarily need the "superstars" to be a great team. The 2004 Detroit Pistons are a good example of this. Good coaching and team chemistry goes a long way!

Yea the 2000’s were stacked, especially the early 2000’s. You can’t forget Jermaine Oneal, Pau Gasol, Elton Brand, Antoine Walker, Shareef, Abdur-Rahim, even Antonio McDyess (before the injuries) and K-Mart. Stat, Z-Bo, Boozer where there around in the early 2000’s but became All-Stars later in the mid-late 2000’s. Portland has been remarkably unlucky with its teams in the golden era of NBA. Enough talented to realistically promise you a championship, yet always failed to deliver. A bitter journey from 1990-92 annual self-destructors in the Finals' crunch time, to Jail-Blazers decade later.
