John we on the same page my dude, the intro i was doing had a similar message, good vid, fellas. As a judge, i can tell you, I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA BE A TIE for the pull ups, cause Soul, Juan, and Nico killed it! He got straight 10's from me, but in the end he was a point behind Soul cause the other judges said soul did more "required" pull ups. In the end you wall were winners. Salute!!!

lol im not a bar athlete, i just admire the fact that they can get into such good shape from working out on a playground versus paying loads of money to use a gym. Id rather do this than go to the gym. It seems like the point of working out is to either be healthier or stronger, im on the healthy side, im a cardio guy, but these guys want strength, and according to the video, they got it.

which then helps to do the same sets related to ur maximum strength as u do it with absolute strength exercises. It's just harder to do body weight related exercises cuz they most likely will train more muscles then just one isolated which leads to a more over all feeling of being k.o. after training.

Gotta say. If there's any "sport" at all I respect, it's merely the beauty and finesse of a fit human body in motion, in action. Couldn't give a damn about the current major sports and similar sports. But stuff like this - the raw power and force that our bodies are capable of putting out if only we want it to - now that is beautiful. I'm currently doing flexibility and strength training myself so I can get into dynamic acrobatics: tricking and capoeira for example.

Look up calisthenics for beginners. It involves a lot of time and effort. It's mostly body weight exercises to do calisthenics, but weightlifting is very helpful. This is all from personal experience.
@DdotTindall

if you want to be mathematical about it, Weight or Force = mass (kg) x Gravitational Constant. The heavier the overall mass the higher the force needed to lift him up, now you could say oh but his latts should be stronger: weight, being proportional to body volume, increases as a cube of size, while strength, being proportional to the area of muscle cross-section, increases as a square of it, i.e weight increases much more then strength. 2 squared = 4 , 2 cubed = 8.

@alexmoses7 You might want to check out their DVD, I've ordered it myself. In the meantime I am also trget my pullup count up. The method is known as " grease the groove". Basically, I got one of those pull up bars that you can attach to the doorframe, and pass through the door I do one pull-up. After a while you can check to see how many you can do. If overhand pullups are too difficult, you can do underhand pullups. This will help you gain some strength that helps with the overhand ones.

The strength of a muscle is proportional to the surface area of its cross section. animal's weight is related to volume, which increases in proportion to the cube of its length, or by a factor of 3. But its strength is related to surface area, which only increases in proportion to the square of its length, or by a factor of 2. When a large animal needs to lift an object, its muscles must also move a greater volume, or mass, of its own body. My theory is not bullshit, because its not a theory

Fingerless gloves with rubber hardware gloves inside of them for me :) You don't need gloves though. I used them the first few weaks but your hands get immune to it. They shoudn't hurt that bad anyway because the bar works upperbody meaning you only need about an hour a day for two days, then rest about 4 - 5 days.

you're. And you are both right, except natural muscular mass is also determined by genes. If no one ever worked out, you'd still have people with bigger muscles than others. You can change things a bit by eating right and excercising and whatnot, but the frame will only hold what it can.
