as someone who has never done psychedelics but has done a lot of research on high dose trip reports I really do think that NDE, psychedelics and dreams are all connected in SOME sort of way. I think the spirit/conscious does temporary leave the body and the places you experience do have value to them in some way. that's just my 2c however, when you look into stuff like string-theory, NDE and high dose trip reports it really does leave you wondering if there is a 4th dimension and we have a spirit that goes to these places when we die because people claim these places feel familiar when they visit them

I haven't done psychedelics either (yet). An interesting thing to me with DMT is the presence of "machine elves" and the shared experience of them among DMT users. The idea of a "shared hallucination" (if it is not in fact real) seems significant to me. So much more research needs to be done on this! Thanks for taking the time to comment!

@@hatalatesting6476 Hi, ive done DMT a few times now. Its beyond description, hard to explain with words. However you really transcend to some other sort of dimension. Lots of love and feeling of pure zen like Deep meditation. Last times i end up in the same sort of realm also. Its really profound. I suggest do it. Its only 5-10 minutes and after no Hangover or anything whatsoever, except like your in awe and like wow wtf happend... On top of that you mentioned ketamine. I did ketamine with nitrous oxide once. This was the craziest thing ever. At first i just closed my eyes and it felt like my mind was expanded my conciousness. And i experienced incredible hallucinations, geometry colors etc at the rate of the music. Also feeling of time travel. I went to different moments in time and experienced it like it was real. Past timeethat is. What happened next was the most profound thing i ever experienced. I took another bump of K and a huge Balloon with nitrous. So i start to inhale, in,out,in,out etc. Suddenly everything began to shatter. All forms start to fractal and everything became colored fractals. Also the sound was first buzzing and then high pitch frequentie as of i was about to get launched. First i was scared but then i thought i just let it go and then....bzzzzzzzbammm i was gone and in a pool of bright white light. At that moment i seem to know why everything was why it was. And all conciousness was one. I can only describe it as like the source of creation. And we are all part of this. And we created the universe ourselves to experience things. And slowly everything began to fade. When i came back ivhad Tears. Needed a few days to comprehend this. It was amazing but im scared to do it again . Fear of Death kinda dissapeared after DMT and this trip with ketamine. Now so the DMT u should do its so harmless. Other drugs i would never persuade anyone to take. Bottom line. Yes there is another dimension, the real one. Thats my idea:)

@Donnouri1 Question: when you tried DMT, did you happen to come across deceased relatives and friends like with many NDEs? And when your trip stopped, was it abrupt? Or did it have an ending like floating back into your body or being told to go back?

@@hatalatesting6476 My theory on this is that people hear about these "shared hallucinations" and when they take these drugs, people almost expect to see these things. Their brain subconciously generates these images because what they hear from other people. Everyone and their mom knows that people see machine elves and aliens on DMT, so that's what people expect to see when they trip. Just an idea though

This video was very informative. I had a near death experience when I was a teenager which changed the course if my life. Although there was no light at the end of a tunnel and it was rather the opposite--total darkness. The dogma I was raised with from my childhood and into my adolescence wasn't even remotely close to what I encountered which was entirely out of the box of most religions of studied and was closer to the experience of other dimensions or planes of existence. No deceased relatives appeared to me but rather entities that were in what felt like another dimension. Entities that I had never met before that appear like streaks of color, orbs of light and many like polyhedrons and some that were humanoid or anthropomorphic. It was a very surreal metaphysical experience.

@@cadethumann8605 There was more to it than I explained although I am pretty sure I didn't even come close to realizing it all. This was just the initial experience and was in a coma for awhile. Saw much much more just not like what I have heard from religions. It was more like a "sci fi" or quasi dream experience or emerging out of a matrix like grid. And at times I was alone which reminded me of how some Pure Lands are explained in Buddhism or the Gnostic "personal heavenly abodes" similar to that film with Robin William titled "What Dreams May Come" e.g. at times I could control the experience and manifest what I willed. The grids reminded me of the movie Tron and some beings shapeshifting into anything imaginable. It is difficult to put into words in a KZitem comment. Starting to align more with Simulation Theory and believe there is something beyond physical life cf. an afterlife and that consciousness supercedes the material universe like a backdrop.

Shaun Ryan a former Navy SEAL and CIA contractor did a podcast on his experience that was really informative and interesting. I wonder what that experience is in real death. If the experience in DMT therapy is heightened in a natural environment are real death experiences worse if dying in a hospital pumped full of drugs? Are we performing a negative service in natural death by modern medicine?

Thanks for passing on the information about the Shaun Ryan podcast - I watched it and it was very moving. You raise good questions Dan, and it's certainly awful to die in a hospital where they're injecting drugs and breaking ribs in order to resuscitate dying elderly patients. It's traumatic for the hospital staff too. Hospice seems to be a better way for those who are fortunate to have access to it.

Greetings. You came oh so close to understanding the near death experience when you skipped past DMT. First of all, you might reconsider using the terms "dreams" or "visions" for the near death experience. The correct term in my mind is "hallucinations." And when you say "perhaps it's a biochemical reaction," you should leave out the "perhaps." In my opinion, near death experiences are indeed hallucinations, and they are induced by DMT being released into the brain - with the most likely care-giving-candidate being the pineal gland. Study the many testimonies available on KZitem describing DMT use and not only will a pattern reveal itself, but the same types of hallucinatory patterns can be found in near death cases. It is painfully obvious why terminal hospice cases suffer from hallucinations. Their brains know they are dying and are releasing DMT. I believe this chemical is more-or-less a sedative, easing the physical body into the state of death by producing comforting imagery. Both DMT users and near-deathers talk of experiences that are more real than real. This is extremely common. Both talk of tunnels, bright lights and other-worldly beings. With DMT, a very large dose is introduced to the brain, and the hallucinations are super-charged. Users see beings ranging from elves, to gods, to cartoon characters, and so on. Very "psychedelic" beings. With near death, the DMT being released into the brain is a much smaller dose, so the brain is not "tripping." The brain mainly relies on stored images - in most cases, dead relatives. Why dead relatives and not the living? That's an interesting question. My guess is that the living brain knows these people have died, and it is, in some way, preparing the living person for what is about to happen to them - easing the "discomfort" of death by depicting dead relatives as "alive" and "well." As a proud high school graduate who dropped out of college after 30 days, I learned much about the brain and hallucinations by listening to Dr. Oliver Sachs Ted Talk on the subject. It is a must for this topic. Combine that talk with testimonies from DMT uses and near death experiencers, and the picture becomes painfully clear. This tirade in no way tries to explain away the infinitely small possibility that there is some atomic level energy that is expelled after a person dies (I feel silly writing that, but as one cannot prove what happens after real death, I cannot deny anything absolutely). I am merely trying to establish that a brain on DMT is responsible for near death hallucinations. As for those who claim seeing dead relatives is a sure sign of life after death, they really haven't thought it through. Is there some sort of afterlife waiting room that calls a relative to the bedside of the dying? It's ridiculous and childlike to believe in such nonsense - that a sentient "soul" exists without a physical brain. It's time to stop the madness of, as you mention, the "Proof of Life" scammers. That sort of conclusion is as delusional and harmful as those who claim the ability to talk to the dead. I believe DMT has much to do with the "casting aside" of the ego which leads to the feeling of acceptance in the universe - a common experience with both users of DMT and near-deathers. But that's a different topic altogether. This isn't the first time I've gone off on this topic, but I simply don't understand why this theory hasn't been fully explored by others. It's so incredibly obvious. Then again, the brain is a universe in itself.

Except for the fact that you left out one important thing. Many near death experiences occur when there is no brain activity. Dr. Eben Alexander’s case is the perfect example. In addition, how in the world do people meet and identify people later, after their NDE’s, that they never met here on earth prior to their NDE? How do blind people see during an NDE?
@cadethumann8605
Жыл бұрын
@Mark-ci8kt I don't know. Apparently, it is discovered that the brain is still somewhat active in some regions as the person is dying. It is even argued that some parts are even more active and susceptible to the dmt that is produced in the brain. However, it does make me wonder if the consciousness begins to separate as the brain goes into shutdown. The materialist explanation still leaves me with many questions. Why is there a definitive stopping point in NDEs like being told to go back or being given a choice to go back? Why are the experiences coherent and share many themes like seeing relatives and being told to go back? Why doesn't the brain hallucinate any kind of calming imagery like relaxing at a beach instead of an afterlife? Admittedly, I also have many questions about the survivalist interpretation. For example, why do most people near death not recall having an experience? Why is the experience similar to taking DMT (for that matter, could DMT actually be considered a legit trigger for consciousness transcending instead of a elaborate hallucination?)? There's more questions I have but I'll stop.

I had a mind blowing experience with someone who's predicted my future 20 years ahead in my hometown in Brazil. I was atheist at that time and a woman kindly asked to sit nextti me in a restaurant and asked my permission to talk about my life, I accepted since she wasn't charging anything, I gave her a credit because she started talking about my past and I kept her predictions in mind, after that, along 20 years all her predictions were 100% acurally. I like to study physics such as quantum mechanics and relatively theory, but my conclusion is that we are probably living the past, our future already happened and there is a source of intelligence able to see our events in a fourth dimension or the existence of God is true.

@@celiogouvea its not that scientists make use of probabilistic tools to sort the unsanswered questions in quantum physics, quantum physics is, in essence, statistical mathematics applied in subatomic environments. You might have heard of Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, with it comes the realization that its not that there are only unanswered questions, but also that there is a physical limit (and always will be) to how accurately we are able to answer them. Now all of this doesnt mean that one can simply throw all the unexplained paranormal phenomenons (god included) under the quantum physics rug, to do that would be in fact not scientific at all because there is not a real relation that points god or mediums to quantum physics, only people telling stories and not being able to explain them and as a result pointing their finger at that highly complex thing that they dont understand and its called quantum physics because surely if there is an answer it will be there. Well, what if there is not an answer to those things bc they are basically made up? Mb more people should consider that.
