@@Twisterroni Similar to this part? I guess lots of eurodance tracks from the early 90s, except that you'd need to speed them up a bit. The latter breakbeat/jungle part seems to be made from the same sampled loop as some of the drums in Prodigy - No Good.

Again, blended perfectly and equalizer is spot on for that in-the-action feel. This is the kind of stuff you listen to while you play a modern day racing game.

It is strange since EA uploaded the tracks for the 2000's nfs games for example, yet they didn't do it for the 90's games

@@tudord4715i think EA does this thing where they practically censor the existence of older games, because old and used games dont make money, they cant / wont sell a new copy of a ps1 game. And ea wants money. Money. Money. Money.

There is a version of this track where rom develops the intensity almost storylike. I wish I could find it somewhere. This one is dope. But that one is epic.

@@marsh12123444 I did some digging, found 3 potential ones - first is the Lost Canyons mix that’s on KZitem, then a “Remastered” version also on KZitem. anyone know what plug-ins, VST or synths Rom is using in this mix, the sounds are so unique, totally out of this world!
@cygnus_XI

Hey, some of my friends and I (especially the poster of this video) have been researching a lot of the synths that Rom used during the 1990s. I’ll list them for you here: Roland JV-880 (with the vintage synth expansion) Roland JV-2080 (with many expansion boards) E-mu Orbit 9090 (used on this track) Yamaha AN1x FutureRetro 777 Roland MC-303 GrooveBox Roland Juno 106 Roland Juno 60 Roland Alpha Juno synths Nord Lead 2 Novation BassStation Yamaha Portasound PSS synths He was mostly using hardware synths and effects back in 1998, since plugins were limited at the time, but he did use some plugins like the Prosoniq Orange Vocoder plugin. Check out the NFS sample and synth finding videos by Synamax (he has two!) where he compiles them all into one place so you can listen to what they sound like on their own.

Forgot to mention, we have more info I forgot to add here about the tools and hardware he and the other composers used in the Classic NFS discord server, if you’re on discord. You should be able to find it on google in case you’re interested :)
