Loved this - easy to follow. Really like the use of two rulers for tidying the sides - cute bunny thank you.

Thank you for your lovely comments, I do find using rulers really helps a lot, but I can't take credit for coming up with the idea, I saw someone else do it, it might have been 'Felts by Philippa', she's a very talented felter. Glad you like the video 😁

Lovely bunny and great tutorial as usual! Especially love the idea of using templates for tiny pieces instead of just winging them and hoping for the best like I do! 😀

Does anyone have an idea of the dimensions of the head ? I have a stuffed set of bunnies that I need to add felt teeth to so I can teach my granddaughter the "f" sound, by associating the placement of her teeth like "bunny teeth". I saw that Julie said the teeth of her bunny were 1/16 inches wide. The head of my bunnies are 1 3/4 inches wide and the muzzle is 3/4 inch wide. I am thinking that the width of the teeth need to be 1/4 inch to 5/16 to 6/16 inches wide. Any comments

Hi sorry for not mentioning the measurements of the teeth in the video, my rabbits head is 1 3/8 inches wide, so quite a bit smaller than yours, my bunnies teeth are 3/16 wide. So I think if your head is 1 3/4 inches I think your bunny will look right with teeth that are about 6/16 or 3/8 inch wide 😊 I love that your teaching your granddaughter in this way, what a lovely idea, I hope it helps your granddaughter and thanks for watching.

Can you please tell me the size and shape of your favorite needles? How can I get the different colors off my wool buddy?
@juliesfeltedfriends
2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sharlene, I use a fine 40 gauge triangular needle for the whole of the bunny, you could use a thicker needle at the start if you prefer, but as it's only a small rabbit I find this fine needle does the trick. Regarding cleaning your wool buddy, if you type "portable lint remover" into Google, you should see the tool I use, they're very cheap to buy and are very effective, but even after using it there are still some strands coming from the wool buddy, maybe I need to give it a shave 😁 putting a piece of cotton material over the top worked though, hope this helps x
