Our national treasure!! lovely to see him getting more minutes. He really deserves it! The C´s signing him was one of the best things that has happened to me. Been a Celtics fan since 06 when I started watching the NBA. Hope we can win tht Ring we been looking for and for him to become not only the first Portuguese in the NBA but also the first Champ. Much love from Portugal and great to see that you guys care for him and like the production he gives the team. Especially on O boards and great screens !!

@@niknba Seens like the Celtics give up on him, gonna be on the G.League now till the end of the season and then i guess they still wil get Kornet ... C's like the Kings use Queta for Portugal/Palops Hype (California and Boston area got the biggest portuguese palop community on the USA). Feel sorry for him, lose 2 years on the Kings being the G.League MVP and not playing NBA minutes because Alex Len (lol) and now gonna be the same. It was good while it lasted.

Portuguese here, love seeing these Queta analysis and I'm with you on the defensive rebounds. I feel like he could be catching all of those, but never seems to try enough, he can easily outjump those guys on the defensive rebounds, would really improve his rebound statistics.

Love the break down. I think Queta's only real problem is pace - he moves a little faster than he needs to, he rushes; like punching out rebounds when he's the bigger, stronger, faster guy. If he were able to take a breath when that shot went up, realize the Pacers dont have anyone who is going to outjump him for a ball on the floor, he could have ripped that down no problem. And I think it will come with time, bc he's shown a lot of skills, and mobility, that you dont expect from guys his size. I think he compliments the starters, too. An embarrassment of riches for a team's fourth center.

Good video. Queta is well worth the roster spot. Hes a better passer than dunker. He and Kornet are so different they both sort of work.

Thanks and yea him and Korn are like opposite big men and I think having both as actual backups is a luxury. Wish people would stop instantly comparing them and notice how good it is to have both

@@niknba in your breakdown you can see that Queta has every skill you want in your big (short of outside shooring), and I hadn't considered him like this before. How do you see his cieling? Seems to be a good teamate too. Well liked. Do you think he could evolve into a game to game contributor? A future millionaire? Or do you think his improvements will be more modest? You temper your expectations at the start of the video but you also point out fairly high level play.

@@knowsmebynameI think at some point if he keeps improving at this current arc he will at least be an actual backup big like #2 center on a team. He does do big man things every time you watch him but he’s still raw. He’s also learning on the fly like he did with the jump balls. Expectations are tempered bc I understand he hasn’t played much and he is on a 2way. No player with that little experience is gonna be perfect so I try to look for traits in these type players
@knowsmebyname

@@niknba at least a backup. I agree. He could start too and be a good contributor on a good team but thats a bridge to far at this point. A good backup center is achievable and we hope he does it here.

4 years 8 million development contract liken Hauser. Even if they trade for someone or Blake comes back or whatever, you can give this kid a contract and say goodbye to Svi, he just looks unhappy. I like Drew Peterson in Maine too. Always need some young talent, long term, on minimums.
