Demons didn’t lie to Jesus, but I’m not Jesus. I’ve had demons try to hide, tell me that they are gone 😂 “yes, I am gone now, I am gone now,” and a mocking spirit kept trying to pretend the host was being slain in the spirit so we would stop praying. I’ve also seen how demons will try to get people, especially Christians, to come into demonic agreement with them even outside deliverance. I’ve also been threaten to which I broke off the threats in Jesus‘ name. There’s also something about what I call a missionary of Satan, the host doesn’t realize they’re being used to try to get others to sin, empower the demonic, or even get permissions to it. I’ve seen demons “seemingly” strengthened by Christians coming into agreement with them well they thought they were just being nice to whoever the host was by lying. Don’t do that! I’m not an expert but these do seem to be my experiences to the best of my ability to explain them. Also demons will say no they aren’t coming out and then they can come out. When you take authority in Jesus name the demons will tell you their name, but with Satan being the father of lies I wouldn’t except any literal teachings from the daemonic. Even some demons lie in the host nonstop and that’s how they know to get Deliverance.

Just got back from this movie and was completely blown away. My only real criticism is that the dialogue was so loaded up with scriptural deep cuts that I think that the unsaved audience probably missed out on some of the weightier nuances. Easily the most authentic portrayal of demons I've ever seen in a movie (though I don't really watch horror movies, particularly now that I'm committed to walking the narrow path).

I don't watch horror movies either as I am also committed to walking the narrow path and I assumed this was a horror movie until my pastor announced that we should see it. I really like the way it was packaged though. Matthew 10:16 came to mind when I found it the movie is a Christian movie. I pray often that people will wake up to the reality (mostly Christians) to demonic activity and the spirit realm.

@@Daniel-wz5qvjust understand that everything the demon in the movie says is how the evil side thinks. If you’ve read the Screwtape Letters, or CS Lewis’s “Space Trilogy” (Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra, and That Hideous Strength) then the film will make perfect sense to you. To me the most “horrifying” scene in this film (without spoiling any specifics) is how the demon makes certain that the prisoner is refused even the smallest and simplest of joys as he is facing a very likely execution. The demon wouldn’t even allow him the smallest of happiness as he faced his imminent execution. That’s how much they hate us, and the film gives some logical explanations as to why they hate us so much from their perspective.

I appreciate your comment, as I can relate to your last sentence, even tho my experience stemmed from a slightly different place. I was born to parents who embraced a legalistic and false religion, so I was indoctrinated from birth on. In my mid 40's I began to see the cracks in the religion and when I left it I was lost fearing if all Christian teachings were false. Not knowing what else to do until I did know something I kept up my long-established practice of praying despite times of feeling like I was simply talking to my own brain only (aka feeling foolish). One day a memory from my pre-teen years came to mind wherein I an another child had "played" with an Oijua board and I having been cautioned against such things but being very curious actually asked it what made it work. Anticipating it would spell out "devil" (as is the word I'd been told by my parents) I was confused as it began with "S" then "A" then "T" until it spelled the name in full. It was then I felt this power in the room that caused a fear in me like nothing I'd previously known. Unwittingly I'd opened a door for which I would experience sleep paralysis for years to come. Thus it was at that moment, 11 years ago, that I realized I absolutely "knew" evil and its source are real. Thus it was at that same moment I realized that, because of this, I also could know its opposite is real. I then knew that while I recognized the falseness of the religion in which I had been raised, I could trust in my belief that God is real, so I could know that Jesus IS real.

@Joan Arc You cannot be possessed by demons as a Christian because the Holy Spirit has already taken possession (if you are truly born again) but you can be infested with demons. When one is born again, only the spirit is born again, but the soul and the body are not born again, and these are the gateways for demons. Because the soul is the seat of personality. The rebirth is the way through the Red Sea, but the time through the desert is to leave Egypt behind completely. (Old patterns, habits, old ways of thinking or behaviour&&&) Only when the soul = the I is crucified, then one can enter the promised land (the life in the spirit). And therefore also Moses had to die in the desert, because he was the symbol for the law. Joshua was the symbol for Jesus, and only in Jesus we are able to enter the promised land = the life in the spirit. But if we fall back into the flesh, then we are again in the desert. That is why Paul compares life with a marathon, it is not enough to start well (to be born again), you have to run the whole race to really reach the goal (as a follower of Jesus) in heaven. Holiness is, in the end, to leave the life in Egypt, to cross the Red Sea, to overcome the desert, then to cross the Jordan River in order not to be eaten up in the Promised Land. (Giants = spiritual Giants) Unfortunately, many Christians only make it to the desert and die there, because they think they don't have to leave Egypt completely or did (but just one piece out of 100) and that they can enter the Promised Land that way. And the particularly stubborn in this regard usually have a religious spirit in them that has just infested their personality and has not taken possession of them. And in order for them to experience liberation, they must first recognize that they have a problem and only then can one become free of it. Depending on how strong the spirit is, only a prayer to God is enough or you need help from people in the liberation service, because the spirit has been there for a long time and does not want to leave. The Holy Spirit always knows best and so one attains holiness and becomes more and more like Jesus.
@quiietscheEntcheen

It is very dangerous to cast out demons if a person does not have the Holy Spirit, because when you cast out demons, the place from which they were cast out is free, leaving an empty space that must be filled. And if these people do not have the Holy Spirit then the demons will come back again but only stronger and with their friends. So deliverance is only possible, if the person is possessed with the holy spirit everything else is suicide Deliverance is the path to holiness. The more one becomes free, the more the Holy Spirit spills over from our spirit into our soul and takes it over. And so we begin to live out of the spirit, because it is no longer the soul that rules (our will), but God’s spirit in our soul, because they have become one. = one will

I went to see “come out in Jesus name” Tuesday and this movie was the trailer where I live too. I actually could tell from the trailer it was fairly theologically sound for what did look like A horror on demonization, but I wasn’t really paying attention to it because I didn’t think it was for more holiness movement Christians like I would prefer to be. I actually wondered who made it because I could tell it wasn’t a “Christian” (War Room) like movie, but it also didn’t seem off. My thought was what a well researched movie on what demonization actually looks like. Now I know to recommend it to people. And if you’ve ever been involved in doing a Deliverance when you have the authority of Christ, which in the trailer the man didn’t seem to know about, you don’t have to be afraid, you can even bind the demonic strength of the individual from harming others or self in Jesus name. 🙌 this is a topic everyone needs to understand come up praise God that even entertainment AND THE NEWS is starting to talk about Spirit spouses, Demonization, and the deliverance ministry of Jesus. And if you missed the renouncing at the end of the video, make sure to look up a renouncing video from Vlad or go through the guidebook connected to the come out in Jesus‘s name movie. The last horror movie I watched that put actual fear in me was The Grudge 😆 Now that I am in Christ and know demons are actually real, I turn my head when most horror movie trailers are shown on TV. Not because I'm scared but certain images try to linger in my mind and I'd rather not battle what can simply be avoided. I do still watch some thrillers. Two in particular that I have watched fairly recently was Split (James McAvoy) and Fallen (Denzel Washington). @@messas3406 Greetings, and absolutely not! Here's what I've learned so far on my journey with Jesus. Christians still have free-will choices just like non-Christians. Only, we should be making sure what we choose to do is still pleasing to Almighty God. Part of knowing that is by reading the Bible (daily, but at least often) to learn what has (Old Testament) and still does (New Testament) anger Him. The other part is seeking His guidance (via prayer) for things that we are unsure about, especially when some of the legalistic Christians try to "convict/condemn." There ARE certain things across the board that are applicable for every Christian. But then there are instances when, for example, one person may be able to do something like continue to drink wine/alcohol (not to the point of drunkenness 🤨) because it will never threaten their walk with Christ. However, at the beginning of my walk, the Lord revealed to me not to consume wine/alcohol any longer because my bloodline has an alcoholism issue, and He wants to break that curse through me. I suppose because I never struggled with drinking even though (starting around 12 up until maybe 21/22) my mother would tell me it would probably be passed on to me --- she never struggled with it either but her grandfather, mother and some others did 😕 Anything in a family's bloodline that can be used by satan to steal, kill, destroy is something that needs to be removed/disarmed. It's extremely important to continuously be in fellowship/relationship with (and obey) Almighty God so that we can be guided by and accurately hear His Holy Spirit (warnings, instructions, etc.). Sorry for such a long response but I wanted to try to be as clear as possible 😄

I'm an actor. I portrayed Fr. Louis in the film, and it was an extraordinary experience. The cast and crew that I worked with were exemplary. Doing the scene with Sean was literally spine tingling for me. For me the film was a debate, and it was very effective in that regard. I was relieved there were no clever CGI moments. It was all driven by the conversation between these two men. Whether or not Edward was faking his 'split' or not is irrelevant. The doctor was a by-the-book shrink, or so he portrayed himself to be, which is monumentally ironic, as there are no constants in psychology. He was constantly trying very hard to fit Edward into some template, and that made me smile. As it progressed, Edward chipped away at the doctor's templates until the doctor was malleable as putty. It reminded me of how cults break down the personality of the incumbents, so they can be molded into whatever shape the cult leader wants. This is very close to what happens in this film. Edward was in control throughout, even when he was pretending to be weak and frightened. It was a remarkable manipulation on Edward's part. Brilliant. He had the 'Marlin' Doctor on his hook. He would pull & let it go slack, pull again, then give it more slack. You knew he was going to land that Marlin. I'm a secularist, so I viewed this piece through a humanist lens obviously, and it didn't disappoint me at all. What consistently irritates me is the knee jerk reaction by many who view out-of-the-ordinary events to go to the act-of-God or act-of-Satan notions. We know so very little about the depth and breadth of human consciousness, what it's capable of. It's consistently denigrated. Now, I am not one of those secularists who froth at the mouth at a mere mention of a deity. I have Christian friends and we have many fascinating discussions, even debates at times, but very few, because there's no crossover from a logic based system to a faith based system. I loved this film for how it revealed the evil-place in the doctor, and by evil-place I mean how rigid his belief system was and how breakable it is, how easy it was for him to be re-molded by genuine nihilism/Edward. I'm equating the evil-place with flimsiness, with genuine weakness, with a system that cannot stand on its own in a real storm but collapses at once, and becomes a fertile petrie dish for active evil, i.e., acts of destruction for destruction' sake. I'm not thinking in terms of angels, devils, God or Satan. My appreciation of this film is firmly grounded on earth and human consciousness.

You copy and paste this on channels talking about the movie 🤣🤣 anyways. Logic alone can decipher that we have a creator that we have a an origin. Faith takes you the rest of the way. Faith and logic, faith and reason are two wings of a bird and the Catholic faith marries the two perfectly. “Father Lou” was a caricature an absolute caricature on what the priesthood has become in modern times which is basically ultra moderns and progressives dressing up in holy garb not believing a word that they utter regarding the faith. The whole scene you were in was a commentary on how lame modern man has become in terms of standing up to evil and the priesthood following the same problem. Evil persists when good men do nothing and when good men believe that evil and demons don’t even exist then we’ve already lost. I hope you’re a good man. And if you are a good man then you need to stand up against evil. And if you don’t then you are not a good man.

I have a friend who loves horror movies. He recently told me about seeing a movie that really scarred him because of the extreme gore, and that he felt some of his soul break when he witnessed the movie. I am going to talk with him about this movie Nefarious, hopefully he will take a look and take some real meaning from it. It's scary when you truly know in your heart that Jesus and demons are actually real and alive today, yet no one around you sees the same reality.

Thank you! I would never have gone to see this movie until watching your review. I will go now. I will also take my husband who likes all the scary stuff along with all the witchcraft and demonic movies. He is a Christian, however he just doesn't get the spiritual aspect of what is going on. I pray Holy Spirit wakes him up. He is in his 60s and he has been desensitized like the rest of the world. He says I make too much of everything and if Jesus isn't in it I don't want any part of it. There is some truth in that. I don't need to partake in anything that doesn't glorify Jesus. He wasn't interested in going to see Come Out in Jesus Name. Maybe this will awaken him. I think the very best thing about the movie Nefarious is that it is not a “preaching to the choir” movie. It is meant to witness and open the eyes of the lost. To draw them in to hear a message they wouldn’t otherwise ever hear. As much as I love typical Christian movies I feel like 99.99% of everyone that goes to see them is already a Christian. That’s not very profitable to expanding the Kingdom of God.

I just saw the movie tonight, just wow. Describing the spiritual war we are in thew the eyes of a demon's world view is genius. Rock solid theology so it will give no glory to the enemy either. I've been listening to Steve Deace's show for years and he's been talking a lot about it so I was a little hesitant it was over hyped. I was so wrong, it exceeded my expectations, should be required watching for all church leaders. To God be the glory for efforts such as these. Thanks Steve. PS. I went to see the movie with my husband this past weekend at a mall near Boston. To be honest, the most scary part of the whole day was a walking into the mall and seeing the horrors of the current day; how people dress, the troubled souls, the kiosks with new age knick knacks, etc. It was so oppressive 😬 The Previews were also rather disturbing and loud and terrible. But the movie itself was fantastic! The dialogue was riveting. There's so much being said, it might require seeing it a few times. There's a lot of takeaways- things one can learn about how the enemy takes hold, etc. I have been praying fervently for years and years but have really stepped it up in the last week, and hopefully will be given the grace to do so more and more, especially for conversion and protection for non-believing family members.

Why would you read that book? You don't read that book unless you are fasting, praying and ready for spiritual warfare. Ephesians 6:12 NIV For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Vlad i just navigated to your channel from watching Bob Weiss, and I’m happy to start diving into your teaching especially because of the many challenges I’ve faced as a Woman who truly loves the Lord Jesus and who has a heart for seeing people delivered from sin, darkness, sadness, and bondage. Every musical and play I’ve ever written has been for non-Christian and I’m starting to understand more and more lately why my life has been forever attacked by darkness. Ironically most of the resistance and dislike I’ve experienced has been from the “Christian churches, and the Christian world” I’ve been torn down so much and the Lord is showing me why, and it’s for this very reason of reaching the lost for Jesus. It’s only been after the production most of the attackers have come full circle to apologize after they’ve seen many people come to the alter at the end of these productions. God never called me to entertain Christian’s but reach the non-Christian’s through theatre. I just saw the trailer to this movie and wasn’t sure if I wanted to watch it but now that I’ve heard your review, I will. The reason I wasn’t sure about watching it is because my life has been hit so hard with lifelong demonic attacks that I’ve had to pause to go into a season of prayer to find answers on what my purpose really is and didn’t want to unknowingly open any doors to demonic attacks. I believe a lot of your teaching is really going to help me tremendously 🙏🏼🙏🏼👆🏼👆🏼👏🏻🙏🏼🙏🏼 18:15

It both excited me about warfare and scared me about open doors in my life. The book was very heavy but helpful. Jesus has been training me in spiritual warfare. I praise God for His mighty love for us. We want to believe that it's all a fairy tale. Even my parents who said they were saved wouldn't talk about it. So Rebecca's book opened my understanding of the reasons why this was so and how to pray. Please pray for my family that all be saved before the rapture. It is so helpful to me that I can request prayers. Thank God for his salvation through Jesus. Amen.
