Animal1 Guy Really?? Yay! I have to check out beardies even more then. 😍 I’ve also understood that created geckos don’t necessarily need that much insects? I had a pet African Pygmy hedgehog when I was younger and I fed him dried mealworms and crickets from a can as I hated bugs too. But one reason was also that I lived at home and my mom wouldn’t allow live bugs in the house. Now I feel bad because I’m older and recognize that I should have put more effort into what my hedgehog needed and less on my and my moms comfort level. But as I couldn’t buy the food myself and needed my parents to get them I didn’t have much of a choice. And feel really selfish for wanting a hedgehog even though I couldn’t feed live insects. But I did care for him for the 5 years he was alive and went to the vet to put him to sleep when I noticed he stopped eating and seemed really unwell. (After I talked with his breeder on what to do). But this does give me hope on getting a lizard someday. 😍 Thank you! 💖🙏🏻

My girl girl just turned two in April this year. She was wild and used me to teeth on when small. I started wearing her in a fuzzy cuddly binky and covered he head and she calmed down tremendously. Now she lays on my chest with head next to my neck and presses hard and gulps with throat and makes little chirping noises when affectionate. She goes outside to otty...won't go in.cage or in apartment. Let's me know by throwing stuff around with her mouth. She is almost 3feet long. Getting heavy. Oh, I nearly crapped myself when you tore apart the live bugs! I had to cover the screen.

Has Animal1 Guy ever talked about how he got into being a rescuer? He's so genuinely invested and compassionate.

Binge watching this little dude’s recovery. Being a bearded dragon owner is hard because it makes me sad watching the bugs die so when you just shredded this roaches I was mind blown lol. But the baby’s got to eat.
