The best ending: "My God, I love you!"--How sweet of him to express such affection for Gaiman's work and its impact on himself!

The interviewer here was brilliant, she actually asked really thoughtful and provocative questions. Made for one of Gaiman's best interviews.

Yes, i even suspect she played fool deliberately, as if she did not know the title in Swedish. translation is pretty literal, so she could have made it up on spot. but this is good trick by interviewer - play stupid so's interviewee appears smarter; even when he really is very smart. :) accidental or deliberate here, whatever.

defconn100 Yes, how true. And unlike many other interviewers she's fantastic at listening as well. Rarely interrupted.

He could be reading straight out of a math textbook and it'd still be mesmerizing. Its not often you get someone who can communicate so well both written and spoken, but Neil has apparently ascended the mortal plane and is no longer subject to the limitations of humanity.

I really loved The Graveyard Book and the retell of Hansel and Gretel. Gaiman is so right. The famines in the 100 year war were horrific . Humperdinks opera makes that really clear.

I watched till the end. Extremely disappointed that no one wanted to tell Neil that he dropped his paper when he was showing people his books. Always love listening to what he has to say and it's true about those stories where they are trying to escape, thing is, we now have such a thing on video now and I've seen a father and son with their dog try to leave ukraine in their van. It was a very sad video and it doesn't end well. The son was recording the whole thing on his phone until the phone stopped recording.
