also one of my fav records of all time . the first time i heard it was at a party in San Fran . the album had just been released . i arrived late to the party with my buddy and was chatting with some hippie ladies in the kitchen. there was a delicious fruit punch on the table and after about twenty minutes and three cups of punch later i asked them where the mescaline and mushrooms were that the host had promised . the girls said , " it's in the punch " . my buddy who had just consumed FIVE cups got a look of horror on his face . i asked the girls what was the ration of drugs to a cup and they said two and a half adult doses per cup . my buddy almost passed out . i gulped and turned to him and said " we're fucked " . suddenly i realized i couldn't stand anymore so i went into the living room and sat on the floor as the album started . needless to say it was mind blowing .

At least one guitarist is Willie Nelsons' son, I believe Lucas, on the far left. Not sure if/or which one is Lucas's brother, both sons of another legend, Willie Nelson. Please folks, appreciate the music for what it is. Amazing! ( And anyone who knows, share which two sons are playing with Neil as they're amazing in their own right )! We're blessed to be able to hear it here. Thank You John Sharp for sharing with the world! Try not to knock these talented young musicians! Neil LOVES them. Makes me love them, too! Think he'd share the stage so often with musicians he didn't love? If Neil wanted to tour with Crazy Horse he would have. No one replaces Crazy Horse! POTR aren't trying to do that. His diversity has always made him UNIQUE. He knows exactly what he's doing. Loved him 45 yrs. and counting! Enjoying every note he's playing, has ever played & will play!

There's an indy artist in Connecticut that just started doing a Neil Young solo tribute show and it's absolutely amazing how much he sounds like Neil, even on his own original music. I've never heard anyone whose voice is this close to Neil's. He just posted a video of a full performance of the show (he calls it "The Loner: The Music of Neil Young") he did at a small club in Bridgeport, CT. See what you think. kzitem.info/news/bejne/qIGh2pqCZoaZfqQ

I was enraptured by his sound at 16 and at his first concert at Woodstock, celebrated my birthday by spending with a few friends, and their friends, I guess who told a lot, seems I walk along while from a river, day was around when I lefted NYC, didn't see the sun rise, not sure, it was off to the races, trying to get anything, food, tolietpaper, you named it it was needed, so many people dropped along the walk, rest feet, many blisters, need a shower bad, was told there was a lake people using for everything,,,,,sometime later, found said lake took my pants and shirt off washing the water off them and me, pants and shirt disappear, YEAH right trying finding yours, in this crowd in the water, plus the hillside was thick as flys, ants, people flying on the ground still alofted she was. spend the better part freezing my ass in white fruits, were socks and sneakers soaked, didn'take those off till after trying to dry off and get anything and everything, after all this slept against a pile of people just like me too damed tire to argue, and who gonna win here.....got back to my life after giving 2 days to help clean the site, still a grown catholic boy now last two night not so much, got food, got clothes after going thru huge piles of shit from everywhere, broken down to piles by type,,,,hooked up w.ride back to the city, after showing back at the boys home in queens, some guy named john, like nothing happen, no fuxxxing paddle, plus I am 16, and that's abuse and as a catholic, we know pain, that's how e are raised, ask any mama old sccchool...near 2 months later, after going back to to far rock, hs, and for 8 weeks , life was getting back to normal, except for one thing...Everybody knew where I went, where I was, what I did, there, and so I was driven away from where I lived for 2 years, dropped off at the nearest next custodian caregiver, ie drs in a madhouse by name, by reputation, and future scrips for a couple of wonderful guys named, see the movie , Jack & Robin,,,, you'll understand the.
