I remember as a school child in Northern Ghana holding placard I could not even read in the middle of the road shouting free Mandela without knowing who Mandela was and where South Africa was located in Africa. Now I wish I could walk from Ghana to South Africa to take part in the straggle against apartheid. Rest well my hero.

Tate Madiba we miss you so much. Every time when I watching his documentaries my tears are rolling and my body gets cold. Tate Madiba Son of Africa, Father of a Nation may your soul rest in eternal peace. Your words inspire me, and you are the mentor of many leaders although you are no more. God loves you is why He chooses you to fight for Africa, 27 years in prison was a test for God to show to the world that there are my servants such as you exist. Like Moses, Job and many more who were faithful and patient that was a comparison in our African history. Tate Madiba you are a true hero. I love you.

And those greedy bast@rds in his party would enrich themselves now at the expense of his 27 years of sacrifice. Other corrupt ones have the gall to call him a sell out for negotiating for a peaceful transition. His brilliance and foresight to try and prevent his country from going the route of other post colonial countries in Africa, was never appreciated. RIP, great man.

I think u telling the truth, but at the same time , when Nelson mandela went in the penitentiary he left his spirit in her soul so she carried on his legacy, but it's a flip side to it ms mandela where still fighting, and Nelson was studying the leaders of the United States and threw all of the elites in the 60s he chose Dr King tactics threw the help of Jessie Jackson, the day Nelson was released Jessie was right there, the concept of Dr King rainbow nation went into effect, and by Ms mandela being free and fighting for human rights anger destroyed her, and Nelson had to let her go I meant man that had be heart breaking.

I experienced something in my life that reveals the existance of light that comes and goes in people. Every child that is born is a light, all shine, but some shine with a very especial bright light. The fact is, the human being which light shines stronger, have a specific mission in this Earth. During the years Madiba spent in jail, he was being prepared for what came to happen in the future (passed) history of South Africa. Mister Mandela had every reason to be hungry with the white rulers of South Africa, but, instead of revenge, he instructed and ruled the people for peace and love, following every God communication he received while in Robben Island. It was very similar to what happened with Jesus Christ, suffering to demonstrate that hate or violence are not solutions for mankind. Some religion theories continue to believe in the return of Jesus, but, what if the new Jesus was here already? Was Madiba the new Jesus or a saviour sent by Jesus?
