not really, but if I had too and it was cheaper than what I spend in living cost in a regular house or apt I would with my lil fam. But my boyfriend would never do it. I mainly watch them to get ideas on how to organize stuff or to get ideas from that to save money if I ever own my own home.

I've watched a lot of tiny house videos and that is one of the nicest houses I've seen. I wish you had shown they access to the loft, but I love the living room and bathroom. The bathroom is much more spacious than the one I have in my apartment.

Love this!! Only change I'd make is move the bathroom door a little more towards the kitchen and make steps going up to the bedroom. I don't like the ladders and want storage for coats and boots in the winter which would fit great under the steps.

This tiny house is definitely on my top five list. Amazing woodwork and I love the dual countertop concrete wood and coffee the table. Especially like all the storage under the living room floor in those big drawers that pull out into the kitchen. Overall this was very well thought out, every available space utilized.

You sound like you're kind of apologising for the MDF. Don't do that. I'm not a fan of MDF, myself, but it has its uses. Fold-up tables are always neat to see in operation, but the reality is that most people don't put their tables away, in my experience, but use them as multi-purpose surfaces throughout the day, so I really believe that space for a table needs to be allowed for as a permanent feature. That said, I'm guessing that your client doesn't cook and eat at home much, given the kitchen choices. Given the same layout, I'd put a table in the living room, and build in a shoji screen for separation. The dovetailed surfaces are interesting, but I'm not sure they will prove practical. The underfloor storage is nice, although I think putting such large cabinets on a better suspension than felt pads is important. Once those drawers are loaded, they are going to be very difficult to move in a straight line. And the lack of ful length hanging closet space may work for a man with a casual wardrobe, but it's not going to work for most women, at all. The outdoor access to the toilet bucket is too much of a compromise of the insulation envelope, in my opinion. I'm surprised at that. Why not just carry the bucket through the house? There's no smell or mess from a properly managed composting bucket toilet, so I can't understand the need for outdoor access to the bucket. Speaking of insulation, the corner windows in the bathroom seem like a sub-optimal choice both for insulation and for structural strength. I love the clerestory windows. I have a thing for those. I bet that big trim piece is lovely. All in all, it's a very nice design, though at 9 feet wide interior, it's obviously not going to be on wheels without a special moving permit.

I have seen a fair share of tiny houses and liked a lot of them, some more than others. This is my very favorite I have seen up to this point. Some things I would like different for myself, but everyone should have what they want as much as possible. Someone else posted it was missing charm. All that means to me is that it is a new home, waiting for the owner to put in the things that give it charm. To me this is waiting for those touches to make it a home, put in by the owner. Good looking house with loads of quality built in.

This house has some really well-thought out features! So many times Tiny houses don't seem to take advantage of space creatively, but you've done a great job with the fold-away tables, pocket door and gobs of storage! I agree with the other comment that the under floor drawers, once full will likely be too heavy to operate easily without some wheels but those could be inset later if needed. Didn't show how the loft is accessed....that had me curious since everything else is so well planned. A slanted, fold-away stair perhaps? Really liked the joined stone/hardwood look on the counter-top and echoed in the coffee-table. You've done a superior job with the design and execution.... congratulations!

Nice looking home! Two observations...the exterior door for the composting toilet should have a keyed lock. Open invitation for someone to easily get inside, even if it is through the crapper! The long drawers with felt slides - I believe that when fully loaded with "stuff" that they will be near impossible to move.

A nicely thought out design, with great finishes. I love the movable wall with the built in table. The w/c is luxurious with the washer/dryer space. A question though. I did not notice any closets for coats, brooms etc. I think it would get old pretty fast to use those drawers under the living room for every day clothes. I think I would steal some room from the w/c for closet space opening into the kitchen, which is very doable with your flexible interior design. Kudos to you!
