Hello my friend, thank you for the video. Something I dont quite get is, you are adding notes to both arpeggios (considering arpeggios themselves actually only have 3 notes), and I would like to know, are they chromatic notes?

I think you may be confusing “arpeggio” with “triad” - an arpeggio is any chord, broken up into individual notes. chords can have any number of notes (kind of). Triads are specifically 3 note chords (basic Major/Minor Chords). All 7th chords have 4 notes.

Really great content. Thank you for this golden nugget. I’m very interested in finding out more about soloing over chord changes so this was helpful to know that you’re switching between the two arpeggios.

Great lesson! I've been looking for a lesson on neo soul arpeggios for a minute Can you make a lesson on how to incorporate arpeggios in between chords when doing chord melody improvisation?

I'm not sure if I get it but you're playing the arpeggio of the minor 3rd of each chord? So basically it would be possible to play 4 arpeggios on one 7th chord (root, 3rd, 5th and 7th)? Or is there something wrong in my head 😅

How do you know the actual notes of the arpeggio? Do you have the fretboard memorized and pinpoint the notes in the chord, or do you memorize the actual pattern? Or do you do a version of caged but with the 7 or 9 chords you’re going to use?
@NastySoulGuitarLessons

You can start by just familiarizing yourself with the patterns...but yea, all the above. i know all the notes on the fretboard and all the notes for any scale or arp i play

also, it’s totally ok to use ideas you don’t fully understand conceptually, it’s better to “understand” it with your ear anyways 😁

Because Bb it's the minor third of that Gm chord, every note in that arpeggio is inside the Gm shape.
@nicolassoto5070

Easier, that pentatonic shape of Bb played over Gm, it's the second shape of Gm pentatonic. They are relative chords if you look them from the harmony of the progression
@DANYALLAYNAD

They have the same notes to put it simply. Look into Relative major and minor keys it’ll explain it better for ya
