Looks like it is cutting pretty good. The only thing I do different is the bar that the push handle is on should be riding on the log, it helps keep your front and rear rails on the mill level when starting and finishing the cut.

I used a friend's Mill. It's the same one as yours. I set the thickness to Mill 2" planks according to the measurement gauge on the vertical posts. I ended up with 2¼" thick planks. I double checked the assembly afterwards. It appears that I assembled everything correctly. Did you notice anything like this while using your Mill?

They don’t compensate for the rails for some reason. Does yours have a number 18 one it?

@@0731bart that one is a Buxton built Holtzfforma. But the Neotec version is as good of quality 395 clone. I have both brands on the channel if you sift through.
