The million dollar question. I am not familiar with MVC so much and has to start a new project. Access control at a school hostel. Should I really use MVC or can Razor MVVM handle relatively large systems? I prefer to skip complex coding situations.

Honestly I haven't built any big project with razor pages. Mvc is my go to choice. Because i m using it before the introduction of .net core. I am not fit to give any suggestions.

Hi Ravindra Thanks for this great video but I have a question to ask you in your Index file you do @model RazorPagesTutorial.Pages.IndexModel I thought we need to write model and then add next to it the type of the imported data so in this case it is of IndexModel type so why we just don't do @model IndexModel ?

Hello.. I love your class. Well, what's the difference between Razor and Entity Framework?
@ravindradevrani
8 ай бұрын
Entity framework is orm (object relationship mapper) to communicate with database. So that you can perform db operations without using db queries. I wonder you are talking about razor syntax aur razor pages. Razor pages is a kind of framework for creating web apps. Razor syntax is syntax for using c# logic in ui pages. @foreach(), @if() it is razor syntax.

kzitem.info/news/bejne/2Z552ah9emuIiX4 Watch this video,around 29.56, there i m uploading image files. You can also upload pdf , but you have to tweak the code little bit, because i have put a condition inside it that only jpeg, jpg, png files are allowed. You have to change it to pdf. Just take the understanding of how it is working.

One more thing, never save files in database, it can increase the size of db. Save files in a folder or in a different server and save the name of that file in db

With Blazor, is there a market Razor pages ?
@ravindradevrani
Жыл бұрын
Both have different purposes,razor pages creates server rendered web apps just like mvc, but blazor is used for single page application. Blazor is new in the market, it needs to prove itself, we don't know it gets popular or not. But if you are a dotnet core developer, you are expected to know these things mvc,blazor,razor pages,apis.. its nice that you have a little bit info about everything. You have to master one thing,others will be easy to learn after that.
