Glad to hear it man. Funny enough, I'm supposed to do a few NextService videos around the end of this month. Hopefully I get them posted while they're still of use for you.

Been always going back to this vid for guide in case anything goes wrong during my config testing in NetSuite, however It's a bit tricky when the scenario is importing midlife assets, Hoping for another vid for that topic, thank you so much! these helpful vids surely makes NetSuite much more interesting!

Oh yeah, importing midlife assets is one of the great banes of the FAM module. I can't promise I'll do an advanced FAM video soon, but I'll put it on the list. Good luck!

Thank you for the video. Will be good to have one on split of fixed assets and the impact on the depreciation. Similarly, the transfer of fixed asset.

You are doing every here a service, thank you very much! One question I had, I know that reports allow for web query exports so we can refresh them from an excel doc. Is there an equivalent for saved searchs or analytics datasets? We have some excel reports that require saved searches to grab the system information, and I'm trying to automate that daily excel doc refresh

Hi Larry, thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately there is not a web query feature for Saved Searches. You can try using SuiteQL to do queries on a SuiteAnalytics dataset. That should work but I haven't personally tried it. Hope that helps!

I see it now. Yeah if you click that you create a new FAM Asset but as a child to the Asset you were already on. It draws over a lot of information from the parent Asset, and some fields are blank to be set newly. You keep using the term "rate", exactly what field are you referring to?
