I'm a 50-something pale dude with very dry skin. I'm on my 3rd jar of this and definitely have seen improvement. Smoothed out my forehead, minimized wrinkles, and similar effect around my eyes/crow's feet. I had one long line from corner of my eye going to my temple. That one is gone. The stuff has also reduced and smoothed a scar from a squamous cell growth I had removed around 3/21. I use this as a night cream 4 or 5 nights a week, and sometimes I'll use RWR serum during the day.

Dermatologists consistently advise: You have to introduce retinol gradually to allow your skin to adjust. 1-2 nights per week, and gradually work up to nightly. And it takes at least a couple of months to see a difference. It's a marathon not a sprint. You should not use it twice a day. This is likely to lead to irritation and more is not better. And only use at night because it sensitizes your skin to the sun. In the day you need to use a sunscreen. A near identical product to Neutrogena is the Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 which is a lighter consistency. See which one you prefer.

I saw Dr. Dray's more recent KZitem video on this product and she highly recommended it. I bought it and the oil (which can be used before the cream) at Walmart today very reasonably, less than you paid. This is my first night using it. I am hoping for good and "noticeable" results. I started looking for other KZitemrs who had used it and found you. "Hot and Flashy"'s video had been out several years in fact. Her skin was already in great shape because of using Retin-A, so it was difficult to see any real progress. She said she did appreciate being able to use it on her neck though as she had been unable to use the Retin-A there. Your skin also looked pretty good at the beginning. I wished I had been able to study the before and afters better and lock in the pictures. It's hard to say if it made much difference. I hope you will finish up the container and come back later to show us "end of the jar" results.

Hi Sydney, thanks for watching and thank you for taking the time to write this comment, it's really appreciated. Thank you for your feedback, and you are right. We didn't realise until after editing that we should have gotten a more accurate before and after shot, rookie error I know! We should have filmed the after in the exact same way we filmed the before, same time of day, same lighting etc. Still new to this whole KZitem and filming thing but we're learning! Certainly wont be making that mistake again! I think that is a great idea and we just might take you up on that! It would be interesting to see just how much of a difference this cream alone really makes. I use it in the evenings now rather than in the mornings as well because as I mentioned in my cons, it takes a long time to absorb onto the skin and I find that makeup doesn't sit on it as well as other moisturisers. Stay tuned because that is a great idea that we will do when the time comes. Have a great day!

Subscribed. I must be honest and say I didn’t see more than a tiny difference but I can’t believe the 7 day claim (from any product) apart from the hydration. I think I will try this when my Hydroboost is empty.

Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. Like you, I am suspicious of any product claiming a 7-day success rate, and why I did the challenge. I am still not convinced I can see any difference in the before and after pictures. I did however like the hydration. I would be interested to read your experience. :)

I have used the Rapid Wrinkle Repair Day Cream SPF 30 for close to 20 years (I’m guessing on that). I have tried other products a few times and always return to it because I notice a difference if I don’t use it. I am 62 and have very few fine lines / crows feet. I wish I had started taking care of my skin seriously sooner, as in a good moisturizer, with a retinoid, and SPF.

I agreed as you mention with the cons, I do also experiencing redness on my T zone areas after 2 days using it as night cream and never use on day time but the redness slightly faded after 4 days, and yes you right, it did pealing even I only use Neutrogena serum before I applied rapid wrinkle regenerating fragrance free, maybe it’s because I applied too much cream. As I’m writing this I just starting using it for 4 days now, and will keep continue to see how this product work, as on Dr Dray KZitem mentioned that we need to keep consistent with retinol to see how this product work with our skin. I am just turning 40’s.

I'm 51 and haven't touched makeup for about 30 years and now that I need it I don't know how) but I do wear sunscreen and wouldn't want anything pilling up and preventing me applying that. Great video. Love your sense of humour. New subbie here from ireland.

First time using this product this evening. I've been wanting to incorporate a retinol into my skincare regime for a while (currently I'm using a retinol eye cream, that's all). I really wanted to like this, but, I'm not sure yet (and I may have applied a little too much), for I found it heavy and yes, I noticed some tingling and a bit of redness. I have oily/sensitive/acne prone skin still, in my 40s! It's very difficult to manage, I have to be very careful what products I use and I daren't use anything with fragrance in it! I'm a fair- skinned redhead. We'll see how we go; I may have to switch back to my usual, lighter moisturiser and add a retinol over it. I think it's just too heavy/rich for me.

Hi from Australia, I'm late to comment I know. I've been using the Olay retinol 24 moisturizer (the purple jar) and it is so silky on me. I'm 37 and still deal with acne, my skin is so sensitive so I use the Neutrogena clear and defend moisturiser during the day. (It has salicylic acid and has cleared my skin beautifully) The Olay retinol I apply at night, and no breakouts and brighter skin but that's all. Just purchased this Neutrogena product today (fragrance free and because I wanted a cruelty free option) and hoping to see good results! Sorry for rambling lol

If one is new to retinoids It is mportant to start slowly. Start with pea size in the evening and give your skin a time to relax. At least a day or two. Minimum. Incorporate it into skin routine slowly but steadily, once a week, twice a week, three times…gradually use it every day then add mornings. But if one uses retinoids in the evening then use of good sunscreen is even more important.

Is this an advert? You were not fair with your review; your before and after pictures, you took the before picture under moody (not bright) lighting while your after picture was taken under bright light. 60 years ago this little trick could have slipped by without being noticed. But not in this era when people are woke. I subscribed anyway.

Hello Vic, first I would like to thank you for taking the time to watch and comment and second to thank you for subscribing. The fact you are giving us another chance is very supportive especially as we are so new and small Regarding the lighting we realised (too late) we had made an error. We now try really hard to film "before and after" pictures in the same lighting, same time of the day and similar atmospheric conditions, having made the error on Neutrogena challenge we needed to take some lessons from it. This was another of our "rookie" errors, which we learn from (every single time..:(, But I really appreciate the feed-back, it helps us (me) continue to grow and thrive on a very competitive platform.. :)
