Most of what Corey is saying is actually very true. I'm an attractive person and I hooked up with a lot of chicks when I was single, but I made those mistakes of texting too much and pursuing the chicks that I was really into. Big mistake, no matter what is your look and personality, being needy is never a good idea with any woman. Today, I've met a 'marriage material' girl with who I'm totally happy, and I could bet my house that she is too, but I'm still trying to conduct myself as manly as possible and not fall into the many traps that are unfold down the road. Like Corey said, everyting is a test everyday, and since I really like that girl I'm with, I don't want that attention level to go down because I'm being too 'feminine' (texting, chatting too much especially). Be the man, live your life, have fun, hook up, keeping it simple.

Listening to this helped me make sense of some things. I went on a first date a few years ago, and initially I liked her and thought I'd like to get to know her more. But strangely, she was the one who started acting like it was a relationship, moving herself completely into my personal space. This was unnerving for me, and by the end of the date I was trying to find an excuse to never call her. When we parted, I agreed to a second date, but later texted her and said I really wasn't feeling it. All the time I actually thought there was something wrong with me, but I think in retrospect she was moving too fast for me. She might have been a little insecure, and I may have dodged a bullet. I also realize that I've always had this fear that a first date makes you a couple, and I've always dreaded this. I've never really realized I have a choice in this. So it may have been something in me, pulling away from her more subtle physical advances, and her reaction to me pulling away was to move closer.

Your videos are great & they've helped me at a low point in life after years of health problems, lack of employment, and being without friends & in a very negative family environment. You helped me get back a decent amount of positivity I had before all my problems hit like a chain reaction. I'm hoping to one day own a business too, but that's a long way from a reality at this point. My only question regarding the dating advice: if you only use the phone to set up dates, won't it make you look cold if you only call a girl to make dates & don't call her like once in the middle of the week to find out how her week has been? Or would the call to set up a date include questions like how her week has been? It surprised me with how little success I've had over the years that a lot of things I do right (I don't kiss ass, don't overpursue) but unlike what you say most of the time, I also have a zero tolerance of being treated like a backup plan or an inconvenience where I'll stop contacting them and will ignore them if they bother contacting me again after pulling off shit like that. I have way too much self respect to give a 2nd chance after that. It probably killed lots of opportunities but I'm fine with that. I know what I'm worth and what's not worth my time. Anyway thanks for the videos coach. I'd love to buy your books once I have some spending money available. I'm hoping to buy your Mastering Yourself book first as I'm thinking that one may help us out on job interviews and becoming attractive candidates.

Omg man this video was def for me!!!! I have no problem with attracting women. The usual prob for me is getting bored or not having anything in common with women I date. This last date I went on was with a beautiful model who I kind of already had placed on a pedestal because I thought how great of a trophy chick shed be. Anyhow the date went great and there were even 3 make outs. It ended with the chick thanking me for taking her out. The nect few days of convo went great too until suddenly one night I noticed her barely replying. I stopped and gave her a few days space only to have to initiate again only to get a weak excuse as to be busy. I should have ended it right there but me thinking with my penis accepted it only to ask her on a date to get a maybe response. The last few days have been sporadic convos and all of them because of my initaion. Time to accept it and move on, plenty of fish in the sea.
@F Collins that is the common mistake I used to make, phone conversations are only when one is in a committed Relationship.

I dated a woman recently, we clicked right off the bat. I made the mistake of casually mentioning that I had looked for job's closer to where she lived. Big mistake ( I thought) she gave me the obligatory "I'm uncomfortable" talk which I totally understood...then a week later she want's to define us as a couple which was great. Two weeks after that she let's something arbitrary that I had done bother her and use that as the reason to break up. It's exasperating BUT I went NC immediatley.

Yes! Everyone should have the freedom to be who they are, and everyone should have equal opportunities to succeed. As the book states, people are on a spectrum of male-female energy, and allowing people to choose who and what they are allows for more of those dynamics to exist. Some men are naturally more feminine, and some women are more masculine- and that’s a good example of polarity.

It's hard to be flip flopping like this depending on how the girl is acting. A man usually has his mind either set to ignore the woman, or to have a relationship with a woman, and that mind is firmly set. If I've adjusted my mind to not care about the woman, then when she reaches out to me again, I just talk to her like a friend and do nothing, because I've already made plans to live without her.

I like Corey and I have read the book..... it was painful. He's writes like a woman long winded stories that don't get to the point quick enough. When you write for men you got to get to the point quickly and reconfirm your point.

Wish the past guys I dated watched your videos. Oh my god this one guy immediately wanted to jump into a relationship after the first date. That completely turned me off, and I said I need time to get to know you more. He blew up my phone to hang out and then got mad I didnt want to be in a relationship after the first date. He did some other weird stuff and I stopped talking to him. A year or so later he still constantly messages me on facebook and I have not replied since smh

Dinner dates as a first date will normally automatically put you into the "make him wait" category as you are treating her like a girlfriend. Avoid as best you can.

True never do dinner on a first date...at most i would do is a coffee, milkshake or an ice cream date shouldn't cost more than 10 bucks!

Hooking on the first date, while not ideal for some women and some men if you're not emotionally in a place for that, causes you to to more more easily not do so much of the needy behavior that Corey talks about since you've already got the prize. It's just like losing your virginity makes it easier to interac/physically with girls. You would be basically coming from a place of abundance (of experience) and not scarcity, desparacity.
