I adore it on my knees and elbows. I’m a little scared to use it on my armpit area but it’s okay since I think The Ordinary’s glycolic acid toner is extremely appropriate for the armpits. I use both products on my face too though but I prefer the lactic acid 10% serum over the Glycolic acid toner for exfoliating regularly. I feel the LA makes my skin look brighter and more hydrated than the GA with long term use. The peeling solution is great for my face for periodic/occasional exfoliation. The deep exfoliation enhances my skin in a way the weaker exfoliants can’t accomplish on their own even when used frequently. I especially like that it’s an instant gratification product - if I feel like my complexion has been looking duller, drabber & less uniform than usual for whatever reason I can slap on the peeling solution for 20 minutes in the late evening and almost immediately see a brighter, smoother & more even complexion that will last a couple days while I get my skin back on track with other products

Not necessarily, it just means that your skin is more sensitive to AHA’s than other people and you need to leave it on for less time than other people. That’s all. Now if you’re breaking out in a rash or hives, then you’re likely having a topical reaction to it, or if it’s swelling up and burning then it’s a bodily reaction and you need to go to the hospital. But that’s very rare.

I think you are missing an exfoliator in your routine. Maybe try adding a mild chemical exfoliator cleanser, for example Cerave SA smoothing cleanser every morning. You could also try rosehip oil, apply twice a day on your scars.
