Mere hisaab se DFCs sabse Acha solution hai aur Sarkar ko DFCs pe focus Rakuten hue DFCs k saath aage badna chahiye. Humaare Desh ko kam se Kam 7- 8 DFC Corridors ki sakht zarurat hai. DFC is the best option.

Should not cancel the corridoor but need to increase its viability by connecting with more industrial node and increase with end with mine amd ports and logistic points.And also make planing creating new nodes along the corridor.And alignment and design should synchronous with that.

Toh Jagdalpur jo ki VSKP se connected hai ise Raipur tk connect krdiya jaaye aur Aage Kawardha ko kahi MP ke through EDFC se connect krdiya jaaye. Toh ye jyada better hoga isse Yaha in lines pe logo ko Passanger Trains bhi mil gayi aur yaha Kai routes pe jaane wali Maal Gadiyo ko chalaya jaa skta hai. Jo ki jyada feaseable hoga. EDFC will fail miserably as it will not able to connect Dankuni due to land availability issue. Again deep sea port at Tajpur has become a day dream. So East-West corridor will not happen. There is no way to expand Kolkata port and connect DFCs to it.

Aisa nahi hai. Mai Mamta ko support nahi karta but railway ka decision sahi hai. Jab west Bengal se 6-7 tracks phele se hi hai toh vo problem kabhi aayegi nahi. Plus EDFC ka main goal yeh tha ki joh raw materials Jharkhand, West Bengal and Chattisgarh se aate the vo north se aasan ho jayega kyunki North mai Industry bhaut hai especially Punjab region. Plus electricity ke liye bi North Mostly depend karta hai inhi States par. Vo vaise bi faida de Raha hai

Railways baas extra tracks daal Rahi hai uss route pe jis par phele se hi bhaut tracks hai. 5 ya 6 tracks hai west Bengal Wale Delhi-Howrah route pe. 2 tracks aur kafi honge. If you don't have unlimited funds better to focus on the worst areas where you find congestion. a) Start adding a third track in these areas. Keep adding more track till these routes have 3 tracks side by side all the way. The middle track can be two way b) Make passenger trains stop on "not used for traffic" tracks so that the "through tracks" remain free for other trains eg freight. c) Add DFC track bit by bit. Say 100 kms every year Why build DFC track everywhere? WDFC track can be laid in Maharashtra till Vasai Road. Then the DFC rakes can join the regular track ALREADY IN USE Let us assume Mum- Blr Udyan halts at Solapur for 20 mins to change the engine. Why not shunt it aside to an unused line so 2 goods trains can go thru Karjat - Lonavla ghat section on the CR from Mumbai to Pune is really congested. This sector deserves an additional two way line on the ghats. Work should start NOW. This will benefit both passenger and freight movement

Need a high speed dedicated freight link to link the national dedicated freight rail network to the new container hub port of Vizhinjam near Trivanduram. This should connect to Vizhinjam to Chennai and Bangaluru, and then onward to Visakhapatnam, and onwards. This will handle mostly containers.

Maine to 1 sal pahle hi kah Diya tha। Ashwani pahle hi bol chuka hai ki wdfc edfc ko study karne ke baad dekh jayega abhi DPR rounds hai lekin in corridor ki cost bahut जायदा हो गई है और नए कॉरिडोर के लिए फंड होगा तभी बनेगा।

logistics is complicated ,It is not simple as connected two or three cities to port .currently if there is a hype better road or railway so means better logistics which is only 50% true , if railways are directly not connected to SEZ customer may go for road due save time.

I think DFC should be made or extra tracks should be laid to compensate for passenger and goods trains. I live in Telangana so we don't have any sea access directly, but if there is direct connection with ports like Vishakapatnam or Kakinada, then it will be easy transporting goods on trains. There is work going on between Kazipet to Ballarshah and Kazipet to Vijayawada. But it is third line only, if it gets fourth line then it would have been much better. Already trains are running late and some are getting cancelled. I thought DFC comes, but I think if not DFC then atleast another Two lines should be laid.

Mujhe lagta h ki east coast dfc pehle hoga. Q ki halhi me us line me tarins ki accident hua h. Us time sabko feel hua ki kash ea mal gadi nahi hota to itna tabahi nahi hota. Or halhi me Aisa suna ki vishakapatnam port per load barh gaya h rather than us mal ko truck ke jariye pohochana muskil ho gaya ha. To east coast dfc I think hoga or usme boht sara port bhi access ho jayega.

now that north & West is connected with DFCs.. , Looks like they want to pause and think, and say it’s too costly?! Do they even realize how many new ports are being added in South India.. Let’s hope it’s just one persons thought process, and they will not cancel all the remaining DFCs

They focused only on GJ, Delhi, UP, MH in last 10 years for all infra projects- Mega Ports, Wide Expressways, DFCs, Metros for Tier-2 cities. Unless West or South Indian politicians (from development oriented parties) become PM, nothing will come to those regions of the nation.

@@shuvajitsing1367 Just shift line to Orissa from Bihar, build a new mega port in Orissa. We need to create alternatives for same reason, as any 1 state can become bottleneck in entire Country's plans. WB and Kolkata will blame themselves once Orissa prospers due to this.
