#A5593848 Lightning is a loyal 1-year-old tri-colored neutered male Siberian Husky who was found as a stray and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on November 12. Weighing 44 lbs, this puppy is a true standout with his exquisite white, tan, and black coat. He looks like a husky but is a bit smaller with shorter fur. Remarkably calmer than many of his husky counterparts, Lightning's calm and composed personality sets him apart. Lightning is a very good boy with a relaxed demeanor, enjoying belly rubs and giving affection. This chill boy's social and friendly temperament extends beyond humans, as he also enjoys playing with other dogs. Because of this, we can see him matched with a range of individuals and families. Choosing Lightning means inviting an absolute delight into your life-a faithful and loving companion who is well-behaved and loves you.

Our Mission:
United Hope for Animals is dedicated to reducing homelessness among companion animals through spay/neuter, shelter support, photography, video and networking of shelter animals in Southern California. It is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization working to end homelessness among companion animals by supporting shelter adoptions and spay/neuter programs. Through our Shelter Support Program, our volunteers photograph and video shelter pets to increase their chances of adoption significantly. Our volunteer Adoption Coordinators help facilitate adoptions of shelter pets. United Hope for Animals supports rescue, spay/neuter and networking of shelter pets to increase their chances of adoption. UHA is not a shelter, but supports shelters to help increase visibility of animals who might not otherwise be seen.
