Clearly the economy will have to be restructured. What purpose does automation serve if there are no consumers? The robots would be creating products and services that no one will ever use in the world you are positing. Honestly once technology improved in the mid-90s there should have been a shift towards changing how economies work. The top down reckless accumulation of wealth was never a good thing despite what nominally capitalist propaganda convinced so many of. The goal should be what is the best for humanity writ large not what’s best for a handful of men at the expense of the planet.
