CAN NOT WAIT to try this…I have two dies that will be perfect for this technique, one is a Nativity scene that I think will be so wonderful with that night sky look, the other is a scrambled Happy birthday die that makes a square card , I am going to try a glitter or metallic paper for the overlay. This could easily be addictive. Thanks Jennifer, sorry you and your daughter have been sick, will send some prayers your way!

Okay, had the stuff so had to try right away. Note that I am neither expert nor particularly talented, so my comments should be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. First, I left the sandwich together for at least 5 minutes and got much better results. Second, hated the puffer tool...I really wanted those striations. Waved a full size sheet of cardstock about a foot from the yupo, and I was very pleased with the results. Jennifer has taught me to play and not be too hard on myself. I love her videos!

Black Friday I bought 4 pkg of 8x10 Yupo 25 sheets/pkg at JoAnn’s for half price. Have been busy making Xmas cards but can hardly wait to play with my alcohol ink backgrounds. I used to do this technique on glossy paper with a product called Luna Lights back about 2001. Hadn’t thought of this with alcohol inks. These backgrounds will be fantastic with the new Tim Holtz/Simon Says Stamp Santa’s sleigh die I got on Black Friday as well. Thanks for this video. Hope you and your family have a great holiday season!!

Love to see the ways you've made alcohol ink backgrounds...and then made beautiful cards with them. I suppose my favorite is the city with the lovely "lightening" look background showing through the circular cut out...and those gorgeous "twinkling" stars. I have one question though. You mentioned that you would link the Misti Pressure Tool in your supply list but I'm not finding it there. I was wondering though...this must not be like those "Chuckie" pressure thingies...because I don't think I'd want to use one of those with the felt bottom to press down images that have glue on them. My husband actually made one for me. He made a beautiful wooden square and put a lovely crystal door knob that I found at Hobby Lobby. It has a nice felt bottom on it and it sure saves on my hands and wrists when I use my Mistis for pressing inked stamps onto my cardstock. I wouldn't use it for pressing anything with glue on it though. Is there an actual Misti Pressure Tool?? Thanks so much for sharing your gifts of creation with all of us. Love every single video I've ever watched of yours. May God continue to bless us, the crafting world, with your teaching us!!
