I am so jealous of you... How can you go on thinking ever newer ways of lifting up and running those damn marbles when it takes me so long just to digest each of your incredible creations?! May God keep those marbles rolling around in your head for many long, happy years!

That's really interesting, especially how the levers each move the one above them up as the ball pushes one of them up.

It would be awesome if you did a series of videos(like 10), where in the end you put them altogether to build one big contraption. I think it would be really cool and a way to get your viewers to follow along and build. Thanks!

VERY COOL!!!!! Out of all the people I subscribe to on youtube, you are the ONLY ONE I watch EVERY video you post, and watch them over and over and I make others sit and watch them with me. Sometimes the woman just looks at me like I'm nuts.

Your work is amazing. I need a ball lift for a project of mine, and I`m not sure what mechanism I should use. My main concern is speed. I need to "release" the balls at a high frequency (200hz, or one every 0.05 seconds). The second concern is size. The more compact the mechanism, the better. What would you recommend?

Gian Carlo Martinelli Probably too late but you should try out the catapult. Just make sure that most of the time, the marble lands IN the basket LOL.

Fascinating. So you'd need some other element to ensure that the balls drop into the shuttle at the right point

Great design! I'm working on a rolling ball sculpture right now and this would work great in the narrow space that I'm working within. Hope you don't mind if I copy this design in all metal.
