Just looked at this boat in person today and it’s beautiful. It’s a pricey purchase but I think I’m going to do some saving and try and order one of these bad boys. The Voodoo blue with the black is a sweet color combo in person

Thanks! I do really love it - I don't think you'll regret it. Definitely look into the "Pro" option to get the Ghost trolling motor and the graphs - ends up being cheaper than buying and having installed after the fact.

@@Everydayfishing I’ve been eyeballing the pro version. How do you like the Lowrance graphs and trolling motor? I was building one out with the Garmin graphs and trolling motor which makes it more expensive, but I’ve heard and seen great things from the Garmins

Nice rig. I wish my tracker 190 had a built in cooler. It’s a 2016 model and loading a cooler that takes up space is a pain!! Congratulations!!

Nice boat and great review/walk-thru. I think you will like the hot foot as you get familiar with it. My buddy has a 2018 Z20 with similar layout and he has been very happy with it, no major issues.

@@Everydayfishing Would like to hear how the Ghost Trolling motor works out, first impressions and after a few months of use. The link with the two Lowrance graphs should be a great tool for finding structure and fish.

@@dansingletary7891 I love Ghost so far. Very smooth and lots of power. Spot lock works great. I’m still trying to decide if I should buy the upgraded CMaps for the units, but the Contour+ maps that come with them is pretty good

No unfortunately jackplate and power poles are not features included in the Pro Package from Nitro. You can certainly buy them at additional cost though and they'll be installed by your dealer.

I have 14 3700 Plano boxes in my 2021 Nitro Z18 Pro in my ctr storage and none in the back compartments. More than enough for all my tackle

Yeah - I haven't had problems with not having enough room. You can lay an 8ft rod down and the tip won't hang off the side.

I currently have a RT188 and want to make the switch too. Are you pleased with the change? How does the 150 perform? Top Speed?

Yeah I was happy with my RT188, but switching to fiberglass gives you a much better ride. The z18 with a 150 will do about 58 mph…. But the main difference is how it cuts waves. The aluminum would slap them and jar your teeth lose. But the z18 rides much nicer for sure

Honestly I couldn’t be any happier. I love the ride, the deck space, and the comfort while fishing. Plenty of storage. I was concerned about the overall quality of parts, finishes, etc but everything has been great. I’d definitely recommend it

Me too but the newer nitros are very nice, I've had rangers, Triton, and skeeters and so far with my z18 pro with 175 mercury in pretty impressed

I got my boat this past May. I still have over a half a tank of gas heading into the winter. I put 87 Octane fuel initially. Added stabil a week ago. Is it ok to use premium gas?

I believe you can use premium, but Mercury calls for 87 so that’s all I’ve ever used

No regrets - I would absolutely buy this boat again. I fish every weekend and about 2 tournaments per month and it does everything I ask without any issues. The only thing that has given me trouble is the Ghost trolling motor - needed a new angle sensor (covered by warranty). Otherwise the boat has delivered.

You're going to love it! Honestly I don't think there is anything I would have done differently. The 150 hp is plenty of hole shot and speed for me. The boat has plenty of storage. I do wish I could have upgraded the Elite FS 7's for 9's... but that wasn't an option with the Pro package. You'd have to exchange the units and end up paying more. But no I've been very happy with everything!

The Elite FS units are compatible with Active Target so I imagine it’ll use the same unit unless you choose to upgrade or buy another

I have gotten up to 54 mph with half a tank by myself. I'm not sure if there is any more speed to be gained, but I'm completely fine cruising at 45 most of the time.

The cost is actually set by Nitro across the country. They call it “no haggle nation wide pricing”, so that means no dealer discounts or negotiating. The 2022 price is on the Nitro website

Just found out that my boat is in the load plan stage, getting close now. Did you have a checklist or guide to go by when you did your inspection at the dealership. I can not find nothing so far as a go by to check before you leave the dealership?

Yeah I’m not sure if anyone ever made a list. Best advice I can give is go bow to stern and ask lots of questions. I even climbed underneath and noticed the bolts in my bunks were loose… had them tightened. Also don’t stress too much - most dealers will make things right if you notice an issue after you get home

Haha - well this was like day 3 with the boat and apparently the dealer didn’t put the cable in the holders for me. Don’t worry, it’s in there now 😂

Hope you didn't get a lemon like I did, z19 pro. Had issues on cracks and pin hole on hull. Not to mention my crease hub broke off cause there made of cheap plastic. One issue after another for a 70k boat

Wow that sucks - sorry to hear that! I haven't had any issues yet. Only thing I noticed was that the screws in my trailer bunks were not all tightened. Was your dealer able to help get those things corrected for you?

No water so far… haven’t been out in heavy rain yet though. Light rain has not caused it to get wet. You can adjust the handle to pull it closed tighter, so if water does ever get in I’ll probably do that

Not sure what you mean by 4 seats… but it comes with 1 butt seat for up front and one full seat for the back. Both with stand that screws into the deck

Hello, so I have a few questions for you. My bow lowrance will not power up at all, not sure what is going on with it. Any thoughts on what could be wrong with it? I'm trying to remove the panel to look at the power cable but Im having issues with the trim up/down and Anc switch, it appears that is is preventing me from lifting the panel up and I dont want to force it apart? Second question did you have to installed rod keeper straps on your deck? dealership told me that they dont install those which seemed odd to me. thanks

Did you try all the easy stuff first? Main power switch inside battery compartment should be on. Power switch at console should be on. Bus fuse not tripped? Finally, fuse to bow not tripped?

I believe the factory installs the standard rod keepers. They are just bungee cords…. You can upgrade to belts if you’d like but I think they all come with these bungees.

@@Everydayfishing I finally got the panel up and it was a disconnected wire on the power cable, connected it and it now powers on. Being new to the bass boat world, I dont know what you mean by bus fuse? and where is the fuse to bow located? Im a newbie but learning so much every day. thanks
