Worth pointing out the 12 months durability people were getting (including that forum post you showed) was from the old formulation where the official durability was stated as 6 months. The new one you show here, cancoat evo, has higher sio2 content and now the official durability claim is 12 months, so I'm assuming in the real world we could see 18-24 months which is even better! Be careful with the overspray! It's better to cup the microfiber around the nozzle when spraying. It's easy for the stuff to waft around in the wind and leave spots on the car that need to be polished off. This happened to Matt of Obsessed Garage due to his garage hvac system and he had to re-polish the entire car to remove it.

Great point(s) with all of that. I’ve been using this for quite some time now. I actually pump twice right into my applicator to avoid any overspray. It sure does carry and you’ve got to be careful with this.

Quick tip for the product when you're done you can run warm water through the tube and nozzle rather than throwing it away after use. And apply gyeon cure the next day to help add more beading and longevity to your coating.

Always wear an appropriate respirator when working with sprays that contain silicon dioxide (silica), even when working outdoors or in a well ventilated workspace. I'm afraid to use a ceramic coating because of one thing a paint on a car has to breath. Scotty Kilmer had brought that up in one of his videos. That's why I only use a polymer coating on my car. They may not last as long but the paint can breath. I use Meguiar's Ultimate polymer technology. I talk to a professional detailer who detailed for car dealerships that's what he told me to use. Meguiar's does have a Professional line I'm looking into.

@@curse6of6me6 So are you saying the Meguiar's I use is no good? This guy that details for the dealerships is hired by them. He is a professional detailer. He has his own business. My car I have is a 2000 Toyota Camry LE. It has been painted once. It's not very good. The trunk lid has deep scratches on the top of the lid. I'm the 4th owner of the Camry. I'm trying to undo what the other owners didn't do. It just scares me to put on a ceramic coating. For one I'm just starting out. Toyota's paints are soft paint anyway. Easily damaged. I just want to do the right thing. I don't want to damage the paint on the Camry. You can damage the paint with ceramic coating if you do something wrong. I'm to much of a perfectionist I got that from my mother unfortunately. When I clean the interior of the Camry it has to be prefect at least for me. I don't care what anyone else thinks. I just want the Camry to look good for its age. That all.
