Please don't stop the vlogs. What I enjoy watching and from what I deduce from reading the comments is that we love them. We love seeing you and Ali and the furries interact, the garden, the house, Carol and Linda's adventures. Your odd-ball sense of humour . That is what I come here to watch. The fashion is nice but I don't think that is what the essence of your channel is anymore. Please don't change that.

I just turned 60 (last year you kindly showed Ali shirtless on my birthday, so thanks again for that) and I retired. It has truly been a year of self realization and reflection on who I was when I was younger and who I am now. I see that I was my own worst critic and I'm letting that go. I see now how pointless that is, to cut yourself down. While I have always dabbled in sort of craft, I am working on putting aside my fears and exploring my artistic side. I am focusing on creation, as opposed to perfection and while it's hard, it's been so enjoyable. I look forward to this chapter in my life and I enjoy watching you work your way through yours.

Hey Lydia, Im 22 and live in a small village near milton Keyenes. Ive watched your videos for 5 years. I've watched the way your life has evolved and the way youve changed as a women and lent into your feminine healing energy. I relate to you so much, I love preloved fashion and didnt have a great time at school and a hard family dynamic. I was always misjudged as a popular girl but am a deep grounded wise soul, and therefore have never found my people. Ive struggled with making deeper female connections aswell. Ive just moved back home after having a toxic boyfriend and every time i switch back to your videos you lay the example to me of what my future holds. I cant wait to have a beautiful Victorian green house one day! I feel like your my big sister, I think youve had more of an impact on young women's lives than you think you have. When I've seen some or the hateful comments and videos of you, It's just never everrrr made sense to me! But i've had similar situations. Your thriving, beaming - your blind unhealed people. I see myself in you so much. I love your vlogs but i would love to see more raw videos of the journey and steps you took in times of struggle. Like advice videos for example. Keep being you :) (I always hoped to see you out and about, I feel like we may live in the same village). Best wishes xxx

And now seeing the light in you; one I have never seen before. Let me just say - I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! You are exquisite. You are a timeless beauty. Your soul beams outward and I am privileged to be able to spend this corner of the internet with you. I am not into fashion. I never have been. I’m your leggings and a t shirt girl. But still, I come to see what you have to say. You have a personality like no other. And you put such a smile on my face with your quirky personality. I hope you never stop being you. THEY TEND TO BE BITTER, FRUSTRATED, WICKED PEOPLE. THERE WAS ONE SUCH PERSON I'VE KNOWN SINCE I WAS AN EMBRYO PRACTICALLY. SHE LOVED HER LITTLE WHITE FLUFFY DOGS SO MUCH SHE WAS FOUND DEAD IN HER APARTMENT WITH CLEAR SIGNS THAT HER DOGS HAD EATEN HER FACE! SO STOP MAKING BLIND ASSUMPTIONS. Please don’t stop the vlogs Lydia. I’m very excited for the new fashion tips but your gardening journey was the catalyst for me to start mine. This summer I put in a few vegetable beds and just a few days ago I harvested close to 30 tomato’s 🍅🥰 seeing your garden flourish kept me going when mine was failing and just recently you shared that you’ve been having a hard time in your garden this season. When I saw how the white butterflies destroyed your Brussels it made me feel better because those same butterflies destroyed my broccoli 🥲 it was so comforting to see you struggle next to me but also pick yourself back up too. so please don’t stop vlogging because you’ve made a great impact on all of us💗💗

Lydia, I have been watching you since before you were married. I am 68 so this gives you an idea of who follows you. I remember many years ago I realized there was a problem with others but I never researched to see what happened because it wasn’t my business. I have seen you grow into a beautiful person with many different aspects to your personality. I enjoy everything you put out on KZitem. I still live to see your hauls but I love your gardening, home remodeling, cute little dogs (we used to raise dashounds), cooking, entertainment etc. I think you have every right to make a living however you choose but I hope you don’t put part of your videos behind a paywall. If your viewers don’t like one aspect then they can turn off for that episode. The reason I say this is because many people are doing this and with the economy and fixed incomes we just aren’t able to subscribe to everyone we watch. I have found that when people do that I tend to tune out because you start watching and to watch the rest you have to pay. I am happy you are doing so well and have found what makes YOU happy doing what you love! ❤

I litteraly stumbled upon a reel you did on Instagram a couple of days ago and have fallen down a rabbit hole of all things Lydia Millen. This is the fist video on your channel I have watched and you encapsulate everything I hope to being into mine and my daughters life. Change is good, growth is good. You have a quirky sense of humor, a calmness to your presence and I am looking forward to the style change you are going to help me bring into our lives. I have always impulse shopped and have rarely loved any of it. Being a more purposefull shopper is the goal. I have watched many style gurus across all the social platforms and you are the first who actually speaks to me. Not because you are litteraly speaking to me, but your words resonate with me. I would ask you where you've been all my life, but clearly I was impulse following as well. I'm here for the journey.

Lydia, this was a real insight into your journey for those of us who have watched your channel for three or four years. I am happy that I didn’t find your channel before, when it was mainly a show of expensive fashion and unboxing videos. I have subscribed to some of those channels where every other day there is an unboxing Hermes, or Chanel. Most people can’t afford those products. I am sure it makes some viewers and subscribers feel distanced from the “influencer” and after a while it just gets boring. Everyone grows and matures. You seem to have done that and your channel is so much more than what it was. Congratulations.

Wow Lydia. I’m speechless. I think you have come a long way as a person. There’s a new confidence and sense of humour showing through and a more conscious approach to life these days. I think you are doing the right thing by your audience and leading in the right direction. Certain unboxes and bag videos nowadays can be very cringey and borderline offensive when we know the world has become challenging for many. Having said that, and I’ll speak for myself, I still want to know about your purchases, hair and all girlie things. I think you can spice it up with a bit of culture, books you have read, make up discoveries. I love watching trends and how to wear them that year. Shop your own wardrobe for a week. Absolutely would love that. Because then, it’s not only about your wardrobe but ours as well as we can get inspiration. If anyone is reading this, I think you nailed it now. This sound very authentic, very conscious and responsible…and fun too! Greetings from Australia.

I am a way way back supporter. I truly love getting your insights on the best way to invest my money on a refreshing mix of inexpensive and investment pieces. I’ve discovered so many brands for my home and wardrobe. I’m a huge Lydia fan and you’re my walking talking Pinterest board. I benefit from routines, lifestyle change, the life coaching and mindfulness stuff, and I would welcome knowing what you’re reading and listening to in more real time. Love the balanced sharing now and am very inspired by the refreshing content. I hated the high consumerism and haul phase so many vloggers went through. This is way better.

I would love to see you wearing your beautiful clothes in multiple different ways as opposed to the impression of a new dress for a new event for example. The example of your dilemma over what to wear for the wedding recently - loved what you eventually decided on. Thank you xx

Your journey has inspired me, I have followed you from the get go. Experiencing everything you have effortlessly shared with us as your audience. I feel I have experienced all of your growths and ‘loses’ as you refer to them and each one has inspired me, Lydia you are human please never let the ‘online world’ take that away from you. I throughly look forward to experiencing more of this journey with you. I would love the office girls content back, I loved seeing this pre-covid. Keep being Lydia as those who have been here from day 1 adore you for it 🤍

Yes to this direction you are taking! You are the KZitem standard (at least for me!). Your channel reflects how I have started living over the past year, and continue to refine. In your sustainable steps, I just purchased Tod’s loafers and a matching bag for a song!!! ❤❤

Thank you Lydia...I have traveled with you through years and thousands of events, growing up, getting older and getting attached to our trip together. Now standing, looking back in amazement at how we did everything, proud that we experienced everything together and arrived at a place where all those years of experience give us the understanding to be grateful for everything, to continue humbly and happily from every day that is favorable to us with its joys and sorrows, together.

You know, I was just thinking about you the other day, about how you've evolved and how that change has woven into the vlogs you do today. You're a facinating individual regardless of what content it is frankly. I look forward to taking that 1/2 hour or hour catching up on my favorite vloggers and you're at the top. From the very beginning you've always strived to be better, "better" now just takes on a different meaning and I think all of it is wonderful. Who you were is part of who you are today. Bravo Lydia. Big hug.

A terrific upload Lydia - I’m so excited for you and to see how your future unfolds. I’d love to know more about how your team works - you appear to be very close, so it would be great to see a bit of the behind the scenes support. Thank you xxxx

I have to say that I started following her on youtube a few years ago. But for some reason I couldn't see the videos. I felt a strange sensation, as if something awakened that I didn't like, something in the energy that didn't click. However, for the first time I'm commenting and I have to mention that I feel like she's a different person, something has changed, and what I think has changed is that Lidia has realized that she doesn't need to pretend to be perfect. It feels more comfortable in its own skin. And I've been watching the videos lately and I've been really enjoying them. Congratulations on transparency, humility, and growth. I think this is the purpose of life, to evolve as a person. Big fat hug from Portugal 🇵🇹 ❤

I'd be really interested to watch you have a wardrobe sort out. Not a time lapsed one but a detailed pull out, try on and talk us through your thought process when deciding to let go of a piece, whether that is to take to charity or sell. It's something I struggle with x

I’ve loved the new Lydia. I’m not interested in fashion at all, I know my style and I’m happy with it. I adore your home vlogs, gardening and lifestyle content is what I’m here for, cooking, and healthy lifestyle. I can’t wait to see what’s to come. Thank you sticking with it through the tough times, hopefully it’s all been a life lesson that’s worked out for the best

So refreshing to see an honest and genuine video. To be honest I’m bored with the influencer type thing, same old content trying to get you to spend your money on things we don’t need. I’m loving the new down to earth vibe here and excited for you new content x

To unleash the more confident, mature and content us, we have to let go of the things/people that don't serve us. Out with the old as they say, whatever it is. I am so pleased that you have found the strength to deal with the external noise and found your happy place. This is maturity. Keep growing, and to the new beginnings!

Dear Lydia, I have been following you on KZitem for 8 years now. I remember vividly the forst video I watched of you because I just moved in Paris to live with my boyfriend who is now my husband to be and I felt so scared to start this new life ! The moment I saw this first video I felt home. I could not explain why but you conforted me in some ways. I grew up with you and now I still feel the connection and the confort ❤

You’ve mentioned developing a capsule wardrobe, but I’m not sure how one does that with such a large influx of new apparel. Perhaps I’m not understanding the concept. I very much get the promotion of quality over quantity, sustainable slow fashion vs throw away clothing. Also, I do so enjoy all the home vlogs. Hi to Carrie!

You are such a delight. I love your positive, sunny outlook. Don't ever apologize for growing and evolving as a person. None of us are the person we were twenty years ago. I was so self conscious in my twenties. I am much happier in my own skin now. Still a work in progress but happier!

I was a retailer too Lydia I totally get you! Lovely video, have always enjoyed your content & I'm loving your evolving style. None of us stays the same forever, or at least we shouldn't! I've preordered your book, can't wait to get it. My life is changing so much as well, moving to France soon & I'll be gardening & living seasonally more than I've ever had time to before. Living & buying more intentionally is a great way to live I think. Thank you 💚

Thank you for sharing your journey - I always say, take it as a compliment when somebody says you've changed. It would make me incredibly sad if no one ever said that to me! It's been humbling to see you go from fashion focused to joy focused - yes there's still elements of fashion (yay!) But we also get to enjoy this slower pace of living. Enjoying the little things in life that don't cost a penny. Seeing things enjoyed and reworn over and over again, in many memories to cherish. I can't wait for what this next chapter brings and getting stuck into your book this Autumn. Thank you for sharing your life, here's to new beginnings ☺️

This is a breath of fresh air! I’m a brand new follower and I don’t know anything about your previous eras. I love your content because I do love fashion, but I strongly want to be ethical. I so agree that the fashion industry needs to change. Knowing you have this ethos means I’m excited for any and all content coming next from you!

Pretty please? It would be wonderful. I also loved your decorative home blogs with Gemma from Hello Petal. Can I just say HALLELUJAH it's about darn time a creator shows us authentic content with real, honest meaning. I am SO sick of fashion trends, the silly hype these 'trends' create it's needless. I'm here for the classic buying, the investment pieces that stand the test of time and becoming more conscious in my decisions. Through others we learn. Let's bring back the real meaning in finding joy in life, in our raw choices and heck the mistakes that we learn from along the way. It's about time the industry made a real shift. Here's to new beginnings 🎉

I think you articulated this really well, others won’t totally get what your really trying to say. People grow, change and learn constantly through life… unfortunately in this stagnant people believe there is only one version, when really we evolve everyday. I just hope you enjoy your life away from the norm! It’s fantastic! 🍂✨

Hello Lydia. I've been following you since the beginning of the pandemic and I enjoy every video of yours and I think you've progressed a lot and matured as a person. It really touched me when you talked about the beginning of the new you, because I am currently (at the age of 40, without a partner, without a permanent income, without savings, as a tenant, with a new job that I do alone, without support and real friends) turning points of who I am and how to proceed. I would like it if you could share a story about how to keep going when everything inside you is screaming, how to have confidence in life and what are the signs that tell you everything will be ok? I wish you the best of luck and thank you.
