Used touch less for the first time (never used auto foam) and omg, the power of this just insane. The dirt literately melts down the car and using a pressure washer to rinse off makes the the 90% clean. I’ve never had any other snow foams do this level of cleaning from just a pre wash. Will be my go to product from now on.

@@tony.775 well to be fair we have been negative about certain aspect of BH products. I say I dont buy their cleanser fluid for example because its too expensive, ive done videos on the problems Ive had with double speed wax and ghosting up in the summer. In this review I provide a market rival ceramic shampoo which is nearly half the price so I state the BH product is expensive. I also critise the foam stability etc... but I do struggle to critise some products things like surfex HD I literally cant fault it, price performance, safe, concentration etc.. just perfect. and BH are literally one of my favorite brands I am a proper fan boy of this brand, I just cant help it I love the products I really do.

Bought a jar of Touchless after watching this video. Washed car today: 1. Sprayed a 4% solution on the car with a pump bottle 2. Waited about 5 minutes 3. Rinsed with high pressure washer, 25 degree nozzle Result. Almost all of the car was clean - only a few spots, corner close to trim, with a bit of dirt. Even the plastic trim was clean with no discoloration after drying. All other shampoos/snow foams I tried required a workover with a wash mitt in order to remove the dirt on the side panel. This is a big step forward - no more buckets and shampoo with a lightly dirty car. I followed up with a quick application of Gtechniq C2V3 to top up my CSL coating - car is now very slick. Thanks for the pointer to this awsome product !

Hand pump sprayer & a good jetting & a blow dry. My daily not so good at all, needed a fair amount of contact. Finally, the weather and work has allowed me to try the Touch-Less/Touch-On (Up..:-) ) system. Definitely a lot less foam and suds but the effects are amazing. Touch-Less puts the "washer" back in pressure washer. A visible difference in the amount of dirt shifted with the lance. Touch-On seemed more oily than soapy but just rinsing it off showed incredible beading and sheeting. Drying was as easy as when using a drying aid and the shine is everything I hoped for. Durability remains to be seen but very impressed so far........

Anyway I bought theses products on your recommendation, and I’ve found them absolutely amazing (I was previously lured by foaming products, but have since learnt to actually go with the best working products not the best showing, I did however mistakenly (I think, not sure I interpreted the instructions properly) use a lance and foaming cannon to apply the sachet topping it up with water obviously, but the finished result still looked fantastic. I then hand polished it with Autoglym super resin afterwards - probably overkill? Hopefully I haven’t mixed the chemicals too much either by doing that, but at the moment the car absolutely looks stunning even if I do say so myself. Anyhow I’m a true convert to their products now, so thanks for bringing it to my attention.👍

This product is impressively effective. Used it today for the first time. After a light rain filled with sand my car was a mess. Applied the product with a hand sprayer and let it duel for 5 minutes. Rinsed it with a hose. Reapplied, then rinsed again. The car was 90% clean. Didn't use my foam canon, neither my pressure washer. Just a spray bottle and a hose. My view on this product - I'm a guy who's very much into detailing, but I don't have access to a driveway, outside tap, pressure washer etc. My usual quick clean is AF in a pump sprayer, auto wash in a bucket and having to take it down to the local jetwash, gets some very strange looks! But for me especially during the winter for a maintenance wash, 2 pump sprayers and a few quid for the jetwash, I can definitely see the appeal!

Invested in both products after seeing this review, having been using Valet Pro PH Neutral and GYEON Q²M WetCoat for the best part of a year; using WestCoat in a similar way as the Touch On, applied through a lance. I have to say the results are amazing. Touchless definitely did a much better job, and Touch-on's hydrophobic characteristics seemed much greater than those of GYEON, with drying the car significantly easier, and the end result noticeably better!

i think this is a fair point. you cant get it all off with touchless so towel drying would be risky unless you are using touch-on in a bucket wash. @ForensicDetailing
3 жыл бұрын
you cannot determine what a product does from its alkalinity.. thats it. nothing more, so if anyone starts talking to you about alkalines just say that... theres thousands of different surfactants. Where they sit on the PH scale is not really relevent. you are also dealing with blends of surfactants. Its what all these materials do, their chemical function thats important. but most surfactants simply work by acting as an emulsifier between oil and water. Thats essentially how most of these products work. bilt hamber in this product also use a chemical which disipates the charge which holds dirt togther etc..

Hi John! I’ve somehow got a few weeks behind with your videos lately, but I’m slowly catching up! You’ve converted me already to bh auto wash, korrosol and auto wheels, and I was itching to try auto foam. I bought 5L of KKD Blizzard a few years ago, which I’ve found a bit rubbish tbf. On the back of that I bought 5L of Valet Pro citrus pre wash, which I’ve found better, but still not quite hitting the mark. I’ve finally got my Blizzard down to a ‘nearly empty’ stage, so can justify the outlay on a new one, and was itching to try Touchless. I’m so glad I did! Both our white cars were washed 2 weeks ago, and I used Gyeon wet coat on both of them. This weekend I used touchless on both of them (both heavily soiled!) and I’m so impressed with the performance of it. I was pressed for time, and literally haven’t touched either of them, and haven’t needed to. There’s very little left on either of them, and I finally think I’ve found a solution for those times when you literally want to quickly buzz over a car to spruce it up. Thanks for the great videos, I shall endeavour to catch up asap! Cheers, Simon.

Same here and I agree, but Auto-Foam has come closer than anything else I've tried. It's magic stuff.

Nice one. I love BH too. You didn’t mention the smell. I like the smell of auto foam. I know I’m wierd right. But it counts for me. Thanks Jon. Great fun to watch vid. . And no problem with adverts 👍. Can’t wait for the next one.

Loved this video John. Made me laugh. On a serious note great content. Always my first go to for detailing reviews. Brilliant work, well done.

I'd hazard a guess that the main advantage Touch-Less has over Auto Foam is that it somehow prepares the paint surface in a way that makes the use of Touch-On more advantageous and function better? I'm just about out of Auto Foam so I will definitely be ordering both of these products to try out. Great video btw Jon, one of the funniest in ages. I think you must be experiencing a runner's high from all the Couch to 5k usage mate 😂

I’m a WP 8 below man since I saw the big cleaning snow foam comparison. Great dilution ratio, thick foam and great cleaning power.

Little wipe of furniture polish underneath your drawers, polish off leaving the silicone will make them easier to pull/push

I'm a fan of Bilt Hamber and I really like the touch on once a month treatment. I'm lazy and just pop it in my snowfoam bottle and spray it . I did my partner's little ford ka+ with it and she always notices the difference

Same here. Auto foam + pressure washer + deionized water. 95% clean for a garaged & coated car if it’s been a week, maybe 2.

Auto shampoo was the best eco warrior product. Biodegradable, Super concentrated so low transport costs and reduce plastic waste. But now the sachet creates more plastic waste than anything else on the market!

Are the sachets recyclable? I hope they are or it’s just another thing going into landfill. I don’t see why it can’t just be in a bottle with markers on the side so you always pour out the exact amount you need, without having to measure it.
