It’s actually fascinating that robot learns to stand up and walk like that. Their joints don’t have the same limitations like ours. So that’s more efficient way to move around.

I want an indie horror game called "My New Robot Companion" where you buy one of these things and it gives you a portal-esque intro to your friendly new robot helper (one of these), then gets progressively creepier until you're have to escape from it to save yourself.

So easy to add some guns to this but drones are far cheaper to make and weaponize. I could see this used by bomb disposal units or by swat teams as point man.

@@bradhaines3142 Boston Dynamics with US Military Budget Fundings will be scary. Yes it still need a lot of work before it can be useful for military. This robot needs to run as fast as Humans running for their life without falling down and should be able to navigate difficult battlefield ground. How it's going to navigate through trenches, barricade, wires, land mines???

Best Introduction ever! While the Tesla robot and others can barely almost walk as well as a 90-year-old Alzheimer's patient, Boston Dynamics couldn't help themselves and make fun of all of them by having their robot do this.
