“Chinese terroir means the exceptional and unique environment for ageing, including the water source here - top-notch mineral water. The source of water at Emei Mountain is very famous. As for ingredients, we have chosen a high-quality, domestically-grown barley in China to use as the malt for producing our pure malt whisky. Meanwhile, we have also developed our own unique single oak cask originating from Changbai Mountain. All of these add up to the many Chinese elements in it."

“Especially young people, now the country is more and more open, and there are increasing opportunities to go abroad, and they have absorbed different kinds of cultures. They also have the courage to try new things. When they try something new, for example whisky, they realize that it’s very different from China’s baijiu. Whisky may be easier for them to accept.”
